they had really bad coding in Brawl for DI. up and to the right (diagonal) is read as 1 unit up and 1 unit right instead of .707 (sin(45)), so it affects trajectory by + 24 degrees. Cardinal directions still only affect trajectory by +18 degrees. In Melee, it's always a max of +18 degrees regardless of the original trajectory.

Yeah actually I probably can't smash Saturday either. Since my shift is changing at work I only get a one day weekend (Saturday) and I wanna spend it with the wifey and kids. Anybody else that CAN smash still should lol.

You can still play but probably not at the church. If anybody wants to play at my house for a couple of hours I could probably do that, but I'm not giving any rides this time lol.

Man dudes, the columbia crew has doubled its regular playing size now that the school year has started... We have myself, sinister, insertTag and his roommate, daniel the seraph, sam1 and nav will probably play with us even if they don't go to tourneys since we smash at sam1's house... then we have another guy who will play with us too on occasion. Now all we need is some hot Bert action and we're like a full crew... except our traveling size is minuscule.

Well in that case, I may or may not be able to play tomorrow. I'm not sure on anything right now since my car is still not ready to drive to Springfield and Kendra has plans this weekend and I can't take her car for smash when she made plans weeks ago. I may have a friend drive me around, but I doubt he'll want to.

You must live really really close to a friend of mine. I stay at his house anytime I do stay in Springfield so if you ever want to smash, I could probably walk.

SB that sounds good. All I need is a way to get there now. Would anyone wanna team with me in Brawl? I'm much more confident in that (sadly) than I am in melee :laugh: .

Hey guys, A.R.K. IV is coming up September 17th-18th in Jacksonville, AR! We are expecting ~200 people with games such as Melee, Brawl, BlazBlue:CS II, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, SSF4:AE, Street Fighter 3rd Strike: Online Edition, and more! Smashers are coming in from several states to compete!

Note that our tournament is working on securing sponsorships from well known companies which will each be providing additional prizes and bonus pots for our tournaments. The Traveling Circus has expressed interest as of this time. Also, well-known regional modder DaRabidDuckie will be on hand to provide dual mods (PS3 <-> 360) for fight sticks.

Sure, I don't need that many controllers. I'll just give you one, Sinister. Michael, I'll bring them to pathways? You wanna fix them there or take them home? The sticks are just loose. I believe that's the only problem with them but maybe not. Haven't used them in ages.

yo ziv plz don't mess with the sticks if they're loose. i need a really loose stick cuz otherwise i suck and can't play. and i'd like to see if they are right for me:)
