In August? Darn lol that's like the busiest month ever. Can they postpone til September?

I told them the dates for the other 2 tournaments. I'm only going to 1 since my girlfriend's birthday is on the next Pathway's, but we could see about delaying it until Sunday. Like their page on Facebook, that's where they announced it.

I don't even know for sure I'll get the 27th off. August is when my Wal-Mart does inventory, so I don't know if I'll be able to get off work for their tournament. Why on earth do they want to do a third tournament in August? Then there's the one in KC on the 20th, and another on the 20th in Ohio.

How come I can't beat Michael? I feel I'm pretty even with Roman but Roman does well against Michael at times. I know last I played Roman he was on no sleep but before that I think we still came pretty even. And I play Michael almost every week. More than anyone else. Or maybe that is the reason I can't beat him. I play him too much and can't keep up.

Don't worry dude I'm a scrub. When MIST comes you'll see people beating me nearly every single match and then you'll realize "HEY! I can do it too!" Then...you'll just do it.

Melee. I dabbled in Brawl for a while but it takes too much thought.
I don't have a cellphone right now (Financial troubles)
I host about 2 fests every month here in SoVa, but in terms of competitiveness, I'm just getting started. I know how to do everything, it is just applying it in every situation and making the best decisions that is my downfall.
I've lived in Missouri before, too, and I met a few of the St. Louis guys, like ZigZag. I dunno if any of them still play.

Also, I has a sad. I guess I'll meet him at the first big fest/tourny that I go to.

Dude that's awesome news. We're very excited to have you back in Missouri. Unfortunately, Zig doesn't play anymore. Some other Saint Louis guys still play, including one of the best female players Sam. You also might have heard of DarkAtma? He's one of the best players in the Midwest and got 13th at Genesis 2. He is a pro sheik player. We don't get to play with Saint Louis very much though.

We play once a week and host one tournament a month and travel as much as we can. We're very supportive and help each other get better, but we're still all learning as well. Here are some vids of our three best players, me, Zantetsu, and Terry.

Which character do you use?

I'm learning everybody, really, but I'm focusing on Ganon and Marth.
My go-to character is Falcon, though.

Its just that with Melee, I can play instinctually. When I play Brawl, I have to analyze and think out everything I do while ensuring that my spacing is perfect and my predictions aren't punished.

And Darkatma is a Sheik/Peach main with very strong Fox.

But yea, like Ziv said it's always a good thing to have a new Missouri smasher (and Midwest smasher for that matter).
