Dope! I'm usually down to play late at night. My nnid is zPeaceI could be down. Just name your schedule.
People should check out Nietonos twitch sometime, he pulls out Mewtwo rarely but when he does, its glorious.https://twitter.com/SSBB_Rain/status/653589788570726400

Thoughts?
I've heard Japan meta is very spacing-based, and Mewtwo does happen to be pretty good at that. Though it begs the question as to why Marth is so low...Another month passes, and another Japanese top-level player collaboration tier list has once again put Mewtwo in mid tier

Keep in mind teleports are very analog-sensitive, ie. you're not restricted to just up, diagonal up-left etc.Was our teleport bouncing off the side of the stage glitch fixed? I've been attempting it on Boxing Ring and haven't been able to replicate it.
I used to have that trouble all the time, but then I went into the training room for three hours and now I can auto snap from practically anywhere.Keep in mind teleports are very analog-sensitive, ie. you're not restricted to just up, diagonal up-left etc.
Though to be honest those kinds of deaths are easy to avoid once you know what to watch out for (basically don't slip under the lip of the stage and teleport too early).
I don't buy it. Kirby and Lucas THAT low? Not a chance! I call shenanigans. And Samus is not that bad, especially after this patch.Another month passes, and another Japanese top-level player collaboration tier list has once again put Mewtwo in mid tier

They play different characters then what we play over here. They actually have a good DHD main! Plus, there game is more defensive, mking aggressive characters less likely to be used.I don't buy it. Only by relativity and from a strict tier-only mentality, if even that. The things Mewtwo lost from Melee besides weight and charging damage (wavedashing and double-jump canceling) are universal changes that affect the whole cast.tbh i think mewtwo was better in melee too :/
I hope that one day Mewtwo gets a third mega evolution that has an awesome ability, doesn't look silly, and doesn't need a mega stone to evolve. I mean, I like Rayquaza and all, but Mewtwo deserves to be at least as stupidly OP as that guy after mega evolving.I hope that one day Mega Pidgeot becomes able to learn Focus Blast. 100% accurate Hurricanes are already devastating so imagine what it would do with that move as well.
IMO he has good grabs and throws shadow ball is actually effective the side b and down b are much more effective and he seems to have a bit more weight compared to last time.I'll bite. What makes you think he is better?
Not being cynical. More curious.

The biggest thing I disagree with is Dthrow being bad, it has it's uses. Especially to start a tech chase or a platform kill as it can land the opponent directly on a platform.Hue hue hue
I'm at work but I feel like this post disagrees with me about like everything.
Edit: I am off work so lemme say this stuff.
His grabs are okay except dthrow which is bad. Don't use it. Worst part about Mewtwo's grabs in general is actually grabbing the opponent unless they are Bowser or any other fat thing. Dash Grab range also Ganondorf bad. Uthrow is pretty great since it can't be DI'd for the most part. And is probably really great with Rage mechanics...IF YOU LIVE THAT LONG.
Shadow Ball is kinda worse kinda better. Does not damage opponents during charge but you can store a charge by shielding and slowly max it out or not max it out for dem reads. Getting hit during a charge state however makes you lose your charge. Aerial Ball also has crazy momentum knockback.
Side B is only more effective at reflecting stuff, otherwise as a command grab it is still crap. Basically land it get your 8% and then shield and react to the opponents reaction. Now in the air it's like another jump and you can turn yourself around. Really really technical in application.
Disable is a huge risk move and is mostly really really situational. So it's still bad. You have to hit them in front as it has no effect from the rear. Oh and Shields block it. So does Super Armor. So much for direct eye contact.
If by weight you you mean you feel his attacks have more weight to them then yeah sure.
But if you mean by his actual weight value it's actually worse as being the second lightest character in the game.
You don't need a lot of rage to make uthrow better. At 80-90% which is considered average life expectancy for Mewtwo it already gets like 10% shaved off which is pretty nice.Hue hue hue

Well, there's this: http://smashboards.com/threads/match-up-discussion-vs-captain-falcon.420092/How do you guys deal with falcon? I hate his dash grab and jab is also really annoying
This is soooo annoying, especially when the current game is really balanced. I kinda can't wait for patches to discontinue lmaoYou know something that is bothering me about our community?? The complaining about certain characters being "OP" or "too strong" is just getting ridiculously out of hand.
With the advent of balance patches, everyone is always wishing for who might get nerfed or buffed and that's alright, but then we have those who complain to loud about X character being to overpowered and should get a nerf ASAP like Mario. Freaking MARIO!! Don't get me wrong, he is a good character but in the grand scheme of things I wouldn't call him OP nor near as problematic as Brawl MK or Vanilla Diddy, but for some people he is just too much to handle and unreasonably demand him to be nerfed to the ground.
What happened to those days when people would focus on getting better at the game instead? Patches have done and can still do good for Smash 4 as it is, but it has also created the side effect on making a lot of people too complacent and thus give up any opportunity to learn their respective matchups, opting for waiting for that magic update to finally "fix" the characters they are having problems against. I hate to sound like one of those "git gud" guys but... getting good is the most effective way at the end of the day. Seeing the community now in places like GameFaqs, or I should say ScrubFaqs, makes me wonder how we even managed to get through three games in a row without any balance patches.
Like some user around here used to say:
"OMG Link is OP"
"OMG Ganon is OP"
"OMG Falcon is OP"
For crying out loud.
I agree with this. the only "OP" **** is basically ZSS and Shiek but they are still beatable. You know something that is bothering me about our community?? The complaining about certain characters being "OP" or "too strong" is just getting ridiculously out of hand.

I'm in agreement with Sheik and ZSS. Fight a good one and it's gonna be an uphill battle where one mistake could cost you.I agree with this. the only "OP" **** is basically ZSS and Shiek but they are still beatable.
at the launch, I do understand why many saying stuff is OP (looking at Diddy) but at the place as Smash is now, its pretty balanced and now where we stand its much better to actually buff the "bad ones" than nerf the "good ones" (except Shiek and ZSS which deserves nerfs my opinion)
Yeah, a whole year since the 50(2)-Fact Extravaganza. Don't forget Bowser Jr.!It has been a year since Mewtwo was confirmed for Smash 4. It's been a wild ride. :D
Meh, no one cares about BJ anymore, it's all Roy nowadays.Yeah, a whole year since the 50(2)-Fact Extravaganza. Don't forget Bowser Jr.!
