I doubt it's a mega personally and hope it's just a form, but Zygarde does need something to counter Xerneas as Thousand Waves isn't really effective against it, Geomancy would make it want to stay in

Aura break kind of helps but it's not enough really.
Oh Zygarde for Smash. It's a hard counter to Lucario. Instead of getting stronger Lucario get's weaker because of Aura Break.

I don't usually count that, since Arceus can be any type. Technically speaking, Arceus is a Normal-type, anyway.

In regards to Zygarde being Midgard I notices some interesting connections.
1. While probably coincidental, Zygardes New form somewhat resembles the Marvel version of Midgard, both having arms but no legs like a Naga.
2. Midgard as the world serpent is based off of ouroboros, an ancient universal symbol which depicts a snake biting its own tail. This symbol has many meanings with the most common being the balance between life and death.
3. Names rhyme. (Unless the e isn't silent)

since they will release pokemon Z soon, can we expect more Mega pokemons?
I would love a Mega Persian with Normal/Ghost Typing and Mega Sunflora with Grass/Fire type 'w'

They will surely release a third wave of mega evolution, there is just no way they'll let that opportunity go.

I really want a Mega Serperior where the yellow 'collar' and 'ears' become a cobra's hood. Serperior is the 'Regal Pokemon'. King Cobra, anybody?

Certain Megas (Houndoom and Banette, mostly) I wish were permanent evolutions. They're just so freakin' cool.
There are a lot of Gen I pokemon that could use Megas to keep up. Persian, Arbok, Sandslash, Nidoking/Queen, Lapras, Golem, Victreebel, Tentacruel, Raichu (remember Raichu, Game Freak?)...
Or a Mega Hydreigon with seven heads.

Yes! Raichu definitely needs more love and the other Gen 1 Pokemon you mentioned are great ideas as well. I also think Kabutops and Omastar could use Mega evolutions too. (Aerodactyl has a Mega evolution right?)

So it's been a few months.
What's everyone's general consensus on Sm4sh Mewtwo? I've heard everything from him being really high risk/high reward to the worst character in the game. One complaint I hear is that he dies too early, but I mean, come on. It's Smash 4. No one dies early
