Is there a reason why Anna can't wield axes? If I played Fire Emblem, that would probably drive my inner OCD crazy. I mean, don't misunderstand me here: I'm not trying to be critical. I'm just curious as to why Anna can wield every weapon class except axes. From an outsider like myself, it doesn't make any immediate sense.

While we're on the subject of Balloon Fighter, I legitimately wouldn't mind seeing him. I think it would be a nice way to pay homage to Iwata, and, as a bonus, I think he could be a pretty interesting character. He could have an air-game unlike any other character in Smash.

IF the leak is the real one, I am happy that they consider assist trophy as playable character and I am happy to hear that Paper Mario, K Rool and Waluigi is 3 named!
however, the only assists that I care are there are Riki (<3), Ghirahim, Waluigi and Dark Samus eventuelly Jeff.

the characters I really want they add and get support is Meowth (cause he is almost or have same iconic status as pikachu), Magolor, Marshal/Chorus Kids, Groose and Ridley togehter with the 3 I already stated above

hyrule warriors have been discussed according the leak, what if we get a second ganon with twin swords? that will perhaps calm down all ganondorfs moveset haters. however, I can see Lana, Darunia, Tingle, Wizzro and Young Link returns with their HW moveset! that would be pretty neat

AA: Slaps twice
AAA: Slaps twice and smacks with a purse
Ftilt: Swings hip into a foe, not much range, but packs a punch!
Utilt: Waves a hat above her head
Dtilt: Kicks outwards, her heels do more damage at the...heel
Dash Attack: skids on roller skates
Usmash: Makes a pose that stays straight up, a camera flashes to damage foe
Fsmash: Same as Usmash but horizontal
Dsmash: Makes a very stylish pose and has cameras flash around her legs, slow, but good range
Nair: Spins in a similar fashion(ha!) to Peach
Uair: Stretches arms upwards in a pose
Fair: Does a traditional volleyball spike, spikes obviously
Bair: Blows a kiss in her hands and stretches them outwards, her palms do the most damage
Dair: Shakes a dress at her feet
Pummel: Slaps the foe
Fthrow: Swings a very heavy purse in the face of the enemy
Bthrow: Pushes foes away, great knockback but very low damage

Up B: Spills coffee on her shirt and jumps stupidly high out of shock. She becomes a hitbox as she's yelling her lungs out
Down B: Switches clothing style to slightly change stats like Shulk, only without the naked costume
Final smash: Summons a giant show, everyone who gets squished by it is put on a catwalk, the crowd hates it and boos them off, mentally scarring them
Taunt 1: Drinks coffee
Taunt 2: Poses, mindgames for smashes
Taunt 3: Blows a kiss

You know, Pokemon are the most fun when it comes to making movesets

If we're getting Hyrule Warriors reps, then I think either Lana or Impa is the most likely. Lana is probably the less likely of the two, since her impact on the mainstream Legend of Zelda games is minimal. She could certainly be an interesting fighter, however. Her Spirit's Tome could provide her with the ability to create walls and platforms, which is a very unique ability. That said, while her role in Hyrule Warriors is large, as stated before, her role in the Legend of Zelda series as a whole is small, especially since Hyrule Warriors is non-canon. Nonetheless, I think she could be an interesting character to play as.

Impa is probably the most likely, given her role in the mainstream Legend of Zelda games. I could definitely see her getting into Smash with a Hyrule Warriors-inspired moveset. Impa's Giant Blade would be somewhat unique for a sword user, and she could certainly do some interesting stuff with water magic. Alternatively, her Naginata is another good choice. Nobody in Smash uses one, and its associated fire magic, while not necessarily unique, still has the potential to be interesting.

However, if we're talking about Unify Naginata users, I think Chewgi is the optimal candidate.

Since I know Lucario is in Pokken Tournament but I do hope that Mewtwo and Zoroark are playable because they are some of my favorite pokemon and they all make a great team.

Characters are nice to speculate about and all, but how about stages? We know that we're getting a pack of 64 stages
(Dreamland just came early), so wouldn't it be cool if we similarly got Melee and Brawl stages somewhere down the line?

Melee stages I'd like to see back:

Kongo Jungle
(Reimagined) Brinstar Depths
Poke Floats (for lulz)
Mute City
Mushroom Kingdom 2
Venom
Fourside
Great Bay

Brawl stages I'd like to see back:

New Pork City (Lucas is kind of homesick)
Pirate Ship
Frigate Orpheon
(small list, I know, but can you think of many Brawl stages you like that aren't already back?)

A nice touch would also be providing skins for Battlefield and Final Destination to make them look like past games.

Still, I can only imagine the floodgates opened if an assist trophy became playable... *cough* nothing unusual about my avatar *cough*.

Personally, I'd like to see Sector Z back. That stage was so much fun to play on! I think part of the appeal was the fact that it was a huge stage, but it wasn't that complex. Most larger stages are rather complicated and have multiple layers of platforms, whereas Sector Z was simple by comparison.

Mushroom Kingdom 64 was fun, as well. The functional Warp Pipes and scale made it very fun to play on, though I'm not a fan of it being a walk-off stage. Honestly, all of the stages in Smash 64 were great, even Metal Cavern, and I'd love to see a few more return.

From Melee, I'd like to see Poké Floats return. It wasn't a competitive stage at all, but it was incredibly fun for casual matches. I wouldn't mind seeing Princess Peach's Castle or Kongo Jungle (SSBM) return, either.

Frigate Orpheon and Pirate Ship are the two Brawl stages I'd like to see back. Both of them were quite fun to play on.

All of my yes! I'd absolutely love to see this happen! Personally, I'd also like to see Final Destination 64's theme and Battlefield 64's theme added to their respective current incarnations. Both of those songs were great, in my opinion.

Honestly the biggest thing against Sector X coming back is that 3DS has Corneria which is basically the same but smaller.
Same deal with Planet Zebes and Brinstar. Still not too farfetched if they're Wii U only.

I'm hoping Peach's Castle 64 will have the actual Peach's Castle theme for the first time, similar to how Onett finally got it's actual theme in a mix with Winters. Maybe they could also take the Super Sluggers remix, that was a good one.

Really for me sometimes it's not so much the stage itself that excites me but rather the pack of songs they'll come with.

• Anthony Higgs being the next Metroid representative. Him or Sylux representing the Prime series even though he was more in a side game for a spinoff series.

Stage:

• New Pork City
• A Pokemon stage, either returning or new

Music:

• New Age Retro Hippie battle theme from EarthBound
• Pokey Means Business (from EarthBound)
• Vs. Champion (Kanto)
• Vs N (seriously this should have been part of the medley at N's Castle or it's own music on that stage)
  
• Vs Team (insert regional team)
• Vs Red (from Pokemon GSC/HGSS)

Yeah...I have bias for Pokemon and EarthBound. I have some for Metroid as well, but not as much. Those are the only series outside of Smash I buy almost all the games for.

Edit: But seriously, Pichu is the last veteran I would like to see as DLC. I don't care about more DLC characters as long as Pichu returns.

Just to let you guys know, that new pokemon forme is set to appear in next year's movie. The trailer of this new movie is going to air after the current movie ends. But I don't think they'll show nothing more than the silhouette we've seen already. Just so you don't get your hopes up.
Besides, I think they'll probably want to tie the announcement with the reveal of Pokemon Z, XZ/YZ or X2/Y2.

It's been confirmed that the guy was involved with the ESRB leak but there are several Red Flags that have cropped up.

I read 5 pages and it all seemed like a guy who made a new account, said he was "X" person and then ANOTHER new account claiming to be another person confirmed him to be the first person because he had him on skype and then a THIRD new account claimed to be another old account and confirmed him.

Call me when there's an actual account older than 2 weeks involved in his "confirmation".



As in, all 3 accounts could be the exact same person.

I get that, what I mean is, this is information from Nintendo, not the ESRB. Which would mean it's a new leaker.

It's extremely coincidential for a person to get information about a game he already got information on previoulsy from a completely different source. It's like if I met someone who told me about Brawl yesterday and then today I met someone who told me about Smash 4.

Either I am involved myself with the Smash development in some way or I just hang out every day outside Namco's studio because that level of coincidence seems too big.




I guess this isn't the topic to discuss these kind of leaks lol.



On another topic: I did ok at EVO going all Mewtwo. Didn't do too great, but at least I lost to old Brawl players who placed high in previous Brawl tournaments so I think I did ok.

I got to winners finals of my pools dropping only one match due to a 30% Marth Tipper F-Smash deathz So close, just one win away and then lost 2 sets in a row and drowned.

I still got a hell lot of experience and I am getting more everyday to be honest. @Karsticles I've played Sky's Yoshi a lot, and while I've only beaten him twice out of like 20 games I've saved like half the replays to upload. I got a lot more insight into the Yoshi matchup, but I still don't consider it top 5 worst matchups.
