BRAWL TOURNY PEOPLE LISTEN UP:
i reserved my dorm's common room for this saturday (18th) from 11am to midnight, estimated attendance 30 people. PLEASE try and end the tourny as close to midnight as possible BECAUSE:

the people at the desk didnt know for sure but they guessed that the space limitation is about 30 people. if it is, i dont want more than the allowed number of people spending more than the allotted time as it may affect my ability to reserve the room in the future.

that being said, although id be glad to reserve the room for tournies, unless it turns out the limit on people is 40+, please dont rely on the common room since the tourny scene is growing

That room sounds like it should be used for fests and not tournies imo. You never know who shows up to tournies. I think for my first tourny I just showed up and wasnt even on smashboards. Fests are usually for a set group of people so it could be like the new Sova training room or something. Well honestly thats just my guess on fests vs tournies, I havent been in a community like this long enough to know.

at the same time though, you bring up a good point about the random individuals.

For real though, these are desperate times [the venue owner decided he didn't wanna do that tourney anymore at GnT because he's a pr!ck. not the cool guy who let us run it last time at Little Creek, but his cousin...but I digress]
