To clarify a few things:

1. Placing at one tournament won't get you on the rankings. You must do well consistently.

2. A loss is a loss, no johns about throwing matches.

3. How a person plays at a tournament will speak for itself.

This last weekend with tournaments back to back for three days in a row has brought about surprising results from players in every region. Congrats to all the top placers this weekend! Keep up the good work, everyone!

Also, I think it should be said that it's not "what place you get, but who you beat/lose to,"

i know some people that brag "i got 5th" but didn't really beat anybody, where as, as an example, i went 0-2 at FFA, but i lost to aero and Bardull, so it's not that big of a deal.

Yeah. But, it should be less of a problem now that we have these rankings, as long as tourney organizers seed properly, things should be fine. You're changes of facing someone good in losers drastically drop when things are seeded.
