I'd rather RC than Brinstar. CGing isn't ******** on RC, it can be done ALMOST anywhere on the stage if you're smart about it.
That's why I don't care who your character is, I ban Brinstar. :)
Unless it's obvious that I should ban somewhere else. Like. Snake -> Halberd or something. I don't wanna die at 80. -.-

Lost to a Peach named Hero in winners, and Player-1's Diddy in losers.
I might've beat Player-1 had I not dropped so many grabs, but Hero straight wrecked me.
Either way, no johns. :)

Why would you ban Halberd vs. Snake? Based on the stage layout, the only negative is the low blast zone and the stage hazards on the ship. Everything else about it really works in our favor imo. It's pretty neutral and you'd be better served banning something else.

She's really good against mk as well though. She's good against IC's because she played future and I a billion times haha.

Oh btw, I took my first step on the road to redemption by winning a Nebraska local

Only notable I beat was Fino, who I had to go through in winners' and grand finals


Didn't have the stones to go full tripless the whole time, but did for most of the rounds I played and didn't drop too many grabs doing it. Hopefully by next tourney I'll be all there.

If I win the next tourney I go to, then we can start talking about me being "good". Since the likelihood of that happening is not very high, I will continue to claim that I am bad

Eh, you shouldn't NEED CGs to win games with ICs. Not to say that it's not important to become proficient with them because they do have a use and make matches easier. But they shouldn't be a necessity to being successful with this character.

Actually, I was thinking about making ANOTHER thread debating the merits of synced vs. desync play. The necessity of chaingrabs being one of the topics I was going to call into question.


But then my laptop died so I just said **** it

guys i hate to tell you but your hero lain hardly uses ics anymore. and he hasnt used them against peach for at least a year.

Actually he said he quit ICs and mains MK iirc.

I don't think CGs are the most important.
Wait let me rephrase that, i don't think CGs are all that's important.
Though I would say they are the center point of our metagame.
So I practice them alot, but it would be nice if I would take a break and learn more desync stuff

It was funny because my first set in winners finals, I got absolutely destroyed via 3stock. But then I channeled your rage against Olimar and it guided me to victory.

Want to play again or even low dollar money match if there's time at Brainshock?

Lain still has it with ICs. He went ICs against M2K and it went to game 3. Granted, he went MK game 3 and got the expected result. He could've taken game 1 if he stayed away from the ledge and set up a wall of BS for M2K to deal with.

Watching lain play M2K really just enforced my belief that IC's are even with or beat MK on every neutral. Lain was beating him by a good margin game 1 and only lost because he went to the ledge and got gimped :/. 2nd game he didn't go to the ledge and won fairly easily. 3rd game brinstar lol.

I had been the whole time. Actually, I need to change that title again. Just recently I was given control of the entire organization by the former leader. So now I'm number 1 or 2 with Bionic.

Not legit imo. But still Wario vs. Ganon is actually hard for Wario because of this unity ruleset.

Obviously not, since this whole "all you need is grab and UAir" craze is getting us top 5 in every tournament in America...
