i wouldn't say that about the neutral. i'd say the neutral is the only saving grace for marth really. those platforms can make or break you, still them **** changes **** me so hard. which is why i love p4 rules, but p4 needs some more CPs for it to be awesome.
like p4 ruleset, with more than 2/3 cp stages would be ill *starts the vicious cycle once again*
i should prolly add another imo for good measure.

IMO, Marth's fsmash goes through the tree in the fire transformation. Clearly Marth has an advantage on that map and you guys just want all the maps removed until Yoshi's, Battlefield, and FoD are the only neutrals.

maybe in the past, but what about in like 2009-10,

TO4 - falcon
SMYM 9 -falcon
ROM - puff/falcon
E52-2 - puff/(whatever mango used at the time)
genisis - puff/whatever mango used
Herb2 - fox/marth
smym10 - puff/whatever mango used
GU:SNES - puff/whatever mango used
TO5 - puff
SPOC - fox
Pat's - puff/mango alts
ROM 2 - puff
wintrfst - puff/mango alts
R3 - fox
#4 - puff/mangoalts

I think puff and falco(mango) win the most

I'm not a fox main, nor am I a jman/lucky fanboy, I just don't think fox lives up to all the hype.

There's like, only 2 jigglypuffs who do extremely well / win and while 100x Fox players place pretty well lol

Before that, it was like, 2 Marth players and 100x Fox and Sheik players.

Darc is good, also Raistlin, but they don't place as well as a good number of Fox players.

Yeah, there were something like 14 Fox mains in the top 32 at Pound 4 and only 3 puffs. There were twice as many Foxes as any other character (I think Shiek and Falco had 7?)

Just because spacies dont win nationals doesn't mean that he can't win every single tournament that Mango and Hungrybox isn't at.

I lold at all the post thinking the same thing that devil ray posted. Good****!

You play good with the char you are playing. No excuses.

Stadium is definetly one stage that i have trouble with but its not horrible for marth. I'd call it manageable. Just adapt with the stage and opponent and win.

and the thing about the different stage lists (MBR or w/e)... it doesn't really matter what rules u go by as long as there's stage striking, bans, and counter picks. It should be all fair in games then. Like even if u have certain nuetral stages u don't like, u can strike it or ban em. Personally, i think the TO should make their own rules about that.

Alright then I'mma play Yoshi this whole tourney and I best get out of pools ;) You best be afraid of my patented fair, utilt, utilt, utilt(nice DI), DJC uair, ledge cancel up B, down b combo I did on a Falco CPU last night ;DDDDDDD Orrrrrr surprise over B gimps on Fox/Falco's upBs where the egg hits them, for some reason Yoshi bounced off them and was still in the egg, landed on Randal as he was heading towards the stage, fell off him, hit the wall, popped out of the egg then was going to fall to my death if it wasn't for the fact that I landed on Randal right before he went inside the stage ;D Just a tip, ban Yoshi's Story against Yoshis ;P Too legit.

nah me and darkrain care about the crowd too much, we wont split, we'll do dittoes to see who wins. for the crowd, not for us.

The changes are all more favorable to everyone else. So what if marth's sword can hit through some of them? He can do his best to camp in those parts, but if he straight up fights in any of them, he will lose to everyone.

In the neutral part, most characters have so much room that he can be easily avoided unless they get corner trapped.

Mango went falco for the majority of the tournaments he won, only going puff in GF or in super important matchups. Mango is almost the entire reason falco has as many points as he does, and him and hbox are 90% of the puff points.

I don't think there was a single tournament I looked at without a fox in the top8 somewhere.

Cosmo, Yoshi dittos =D???? $1 though because I SD about 3 times on average with Yoshi per game.

And Tink, I've been trying to get that point across with my crew for the past week now. I'd love to get a hotel and Smash with people all night!
