The fact that I knew nothing about this song [I'd heard the song in animal crossing and Mario paint but never realized they were the same...] being connected to so many games makes me feel like a failure as a Nintendo fan. D:

Man, I remember hearing that song in Yoshi's Story as a kid. (It creeped me out then too) Wonder where they'll hide it this time.

By the way, Yoko Shimomura is definitely my favourite now, no matter who the other guys are. I was thinking about how that one battle song by her is awesome, but then remembered another ingenious soundtrack.
The soundtrack of an obscure little Squaresoft RPG called Live-A-Live.
Turns out she was the composer of THAT, too. xD

This is the boss battle song. The first scenario I chose was Kung Fu, which had some cute, almost friendly Chinese music... you can imagine how much I jumped when this one suddenly exploded from my speakers.

Maybe it'll follow the pattern, and you'll have to wait a certain number of minutes after a vitcory to hear it...

Or maybe it will just be part of the Sound Test.

Stay on the item select screen for 7 and a half hours then turn off your wii and repeat 8 times and you will hear the first part of the song... then you have to buy the rest off of the wii shop channel for 4000 points!

You do know it was released on GBA, right? I can guarantee they aren't referring to the N64 version, what with the GBA game out...

I actually downloaded the Mother 3 soundtrack and, well...It's like 250 tacks of sex for the ears. Those two people that worked on it that appear on the list excite me.

I really don't know where they got those songs.... but then again it could be explained the same way as how they hacked the unreleased Starfox 2 for SNES and released it as roms.

I just really wished they fixed the website now.. some songs aren't working.

Well, that's not really what I meant...
What I meant was, the MOTHER3 composers on the list aren't the ones who composed the music for the N64 version most likely. The MOTHER3 that Sakurai referenced in that list was the one for the GBA, so you should probably show off some music from that.


ALSO.
I'm doubting Lucas is going to replace Ness. Ness is the MOTHER series poster boy. There's been a ton of push from the states to show that the MOTHER series is recognized and well loved, and with those two composers and the appearance of the trophies in SSBM, I'm figuring they're going to add characters from the MOTHER series if anything.

Tera i don't know what bob-omb your using seeing as the one we were kicking around has gone to another thread... (Don't go there).

And anyway they were going to replace ness for melee but they didn't when the n64 one was canceled.
