New Spirit: Mecha Knuckles
Ace Spirit
Stage: Emerald Cost
Theme: Open Your Heart
Opponents: Metallic Sonic (to avoid confusion with Metal Sonic)
Rules: The opponents metal and hostile assist will appear (Knuckles)

On a related note, Knuckles should have a spirit battle thats basically that but with the metallic part replaced with the opponent smash attacks deal more damage. Since Knuckles doesn’t have one in smash, I felt like including one for him would be nice.

Lucario stage: Distortion World

This stage begins with a very simple layout, basically a very large Battlefield with dangerous spikes on the bottom, but as the match goes on pieces of stage will slowly piece off, move about and tilt, turning it into a bigger more Temple-like stage. Giratana will appear and either speed up the stage's transformation; revert it into a battlefield clone; turn it upside down; change a few platforms into water that slows your air speed when you fall through it; grow thorny plants that hurt you; or destroy certain platforms - all of these are temporary except the battlefield revert, which will choose a new layout from there. The first layout will always be Battlefield, but the final layout is semi-random like the Mario Maker stage.

Mewtwo (Pokemon Stadium) (New Remix)
Zacian and Zamazenta
Legendary Quartet
Boss (Learn with Pokemon: Typing Adventure)

Resubbing Fall of the Death Egg for Olimar, since his whole deal is being in a spaceship that shatters into pieces. I just really need the entire Sonic R soundtrack.

You begin in Death Egg Zone, which very quickly proceeds to explode, the platform falls down to the earth as you go down through an asteroid crater in space and past the sun; the magically re-building Sky Sanctuary as you circle around the rising Angel Island; the mountaintops of Hilltop Zone with it's fauna coming back home at sunset; through the water into a special zone; and then a loop. The layout is similar to Delfino's Secret from PM or Tremorton Joyride from NASB, albeit a lot more predictable. debris platforms that transform from Battlefield, to hazoff Smashville, to PS2, to Kalos, to FD, and then back to Battlefield. The base platform has slight downwards slopes. With hazards on, the stage tilts slightly as it falls.

Sky Sanctuary Zone (Modern)
Diamond in the Sky
Can You Feel The Sunshine
Big Arms (Sonic Generations 3DS)

Olimar echo: Blooper Nanny

There is no variance between the Bloopers summoned and they're insanely fragile, but the Nanny can summon more Bloopers and has no consequence for spawning lots of them - her up special is similar to Inkling's, and while her down special has her call over all her Bloopers to stand in a row, creating a bigger hitbox depending on how many Bloopers she has.

Lucario echo: Kumatora

Man, there are a lot of characters I can make Kuma into an echo of. She appears slightly more matured than her final smash model. Has no aura - more powerful than base Lucario but less powerful than full aura Lucario. Her neutral special is a PK Fire ball, her force palm is PSI Freeze and freezes at point blank range instead of command grabbing, her down special is PSI Ground - still a counter, unlike Lucas' PSI ground, but buries foes on ground and spikes them in the air. She has PSI Starstorm as a Final Smash, summoning Lucas and Duster instead of Boney

I was gonna have her summon the Magypsies, but I'd rather not deal with that potential headache, even in a situation where said headache would only hypothetically exist as a fictional scenario.

Olimar Echo: Blinky

Finally, I submit a simple echo for once (simple as in there's less moves being replaced)!
  • Blinky would use his World appearance, but the other ghosts he summons take their original arcade sprite forms.
  • Blinky is more mobile than Olimar and has stronger attacks, but is slightly lighter and takes a hit in the zoning game in favor of a more aggressive playstyle. He's kind of a weird glass cannon.
  • There is no difference between the ghosts Blinky summons, but they all have fairly low HP (5, while the average for a Pikmin is 7.5).
  • While Blinky's aerials remain the same, those that have him grab his ghosts will have the ghosts grow little stems, which aren't there usually.
  • Blinky grabs the opponent himself, nerfing his grab distance in comparison to Olimar. However, his ghosts do the pummeling, meaning the pummel gets stronger the move ghosts he has. The actual throws remain the same, however, with the ghosts yanking the opponent out of Blinky's grip.
  • While it takes slightly longer for Blinky to summon a ghost, he can do so in midair, unlike Olimar.
  • Blinky borrows his Side Special from Pac-Man, with the pellet trail increasing depending on how many ghosts he has.
  • Up Special uses a UFO from Pac-Land, and is unaffected by how many ghosts Blinky has.
  • Down Special has Blinky call his ghosts to orbit around himself. This can be used as a means of soaking up attacks if timed correctly, but any ghosts hit in this state will instantly die... again, I guess.
  • Final Smash is similar to Pac-Man's Final Smash from Smash 4 - The ghosts Blinky has on standby also help out, acting like the Ghost Gang assist trophy.

He'd have a lot of similar moves but they'd have some slightly different properties and he'd also use the rock Pikmin in some attacks.

Zoroark
Time to give smash U era fans what they wanted. His psychic attacks would be changed to dark energy. Arua would have him build up darkness, and would still basically work the same but could lewd to some much different properties .

Charlie over Olimar

A Larger and Heavyweight version of Olimar, Purple Pikmin are now Rock Pikmin which deal more damage but are way heavier, Up Special isn't as effective.

Athena Asamiya over Lucario

Instead of Aura we get Psycho Power, Similar but the comeback mechanic is not nearly as powerful, as a result her stats are generally a bit more balanced.

Neutral special is Psycho Ball, functions the same it just looks different
Side Special is now Psycho Sword, she creates a blade of Psycho Power and slashes upwards
Up Special is Phoenix Arrow, It functions like extreme speed, but it is not as fast and not as controllable, but she deals Psycho damage around her
Down Special is Psycho reflector which is the same as Lucario's counter but it reflects instead
Final Smash is Psycho Medley where she deals a flurry of blows and changes outfits while damaging opponents

Cutting out the middle man, a bunch of Pikmin invade the battlefield and climb up every foe they can to deal damage, you can shake it off with enough movement.

This move would make Lucario more accurate to the games. This move would Increase Lucario’s attacks, if the aura isn’t doing it already. Lucario shoots out a star that deals quite a bit of damage, like 25%. Of course wit Lucario’s gimmick, it could go to be high as 50% damage if Lucario’s aura is high enough.

Lucario: Enhancement

Made his down special while Double Team is moved to back. Lucario charges himself up, deals himself damage and gives him aura - however, he gains more aura than he would for the amount of damage he gets from the move. Also gives him super armour, however if he's hit during this move he won't get aura from the extra damage

Olimar back special: Rock Pikmin

Olimar plucks then immediately throws a rock Pikmin. Essentially gives him a purple Pikmin at all times at the expense of being very laggy. More powerful than full-bloom purple and can destroy projectiles and traps, but dies immediately after landing and takes just as long to pluck as one of Olimar's multi-purpose Pikmin. (Longer if you include the throw itself) Goes a longer distance, but can't be angled. Can be used in air

Lucario Poke Ball: chooses a specific foe to target, and chases them - firing projectiles at them when far away and giving a flurry of punches while near. These attacks cannot catch anyone else in the crossfire

Lucario's back special becomes Force Palm and the new side special is

Bone Rush

Lucario dashes forward with A Bone made of Aura and attacks with it, Imagine a better version of The Belmont dash Attack with a big Bone, This club gets larger and stronger depending on Aura.

ROB stage: Head Count

This stage is a flat walkoff - it has a house in the middle that covers up the battle. The main trick of this stage is psychological - fake fighters, indistinguishable from their playable counterparts, will walk in and out of the house - hit a fake fighter and they'll disintegrate like nothing. The omega form is just a black platform on a plain white background.

Tutorial (Brain Training) (New Remix)
Xenon Time (Planet Puzzle League)
Level 3 (Tetris CDi)

Level 5 (Tetris CDi)

Retracting this submission, will save it for WFT.

ROB echo: Sega Chan

Stubbier limbs make him weaker with worse range, but he's lighter and faster. His Gyro is swapped for a food item that he can trick a foe into eating, making them vulnerable.

Toon Link echo: Tetra

Uses a pistol instead of a bow and arrow. Her projectiles don't go as far so she isn't as much of a zoner as the other Links, but she's faster instead.

TL stage: Forsaken Fortress

This stage is vertically tall but quite thin horizontally
forsaken.png

Red - soft platform; black - hard platform; blue - swimmable water.
There are no hazards on this stage, though it does have a similar purely-aesthetic "stealth" gimmick to Shadow Moses Island. The Helmaroc King can be seen in the background

  1. Helmaroc King (New Remix)
  2. Jalhalla (New Remix)
  3. Ganondorf Battle (Wind Waker)
  4. Stagnox

Toon Link Echo: Kris

fazdude don't submit an indie echo for a week challenge (impossible)

Anyway, Kris is actually a fairly straight-forward echo, focusing on changing their grabs and specials rather than a little bit of everything. Stats are about the same as well, although Kris is a little bit taller than T. Link. Despite only wielding a sword or a shield at once in Deltarune, Kris wields both simultaneously in Smash.
  • Kris' forward smash is a two-hitter resembling the X-Slash from Chapter 2.
  • Kris' grab uses Ralsei, who uses his scarf to grab. This can't be used as a tether, but it's less laggy than the Hookshot.
  • Kris' throws all use a different party member - Susie, Noelle, Berdly, or Lancer.
  • Neutral Special is Rude Buster - Susie sends out a wave of energy from her axe, acting a lot like Cloud's Blade Beam.
  • Side Special is Spade Bomber - Lancer appears and tosses out a spherical bomb with a spade icon. This bomb explodes after a short time (although Kris can pick up/throw it in the meantime), creating the same artifact-infested explosion seen in Deltarune.
  • Up Special is Pirouette - While it can be charged ala the Spin Attack to gain additional height, it acts more like Wario's Corkscrew in practice.
  • Down Special is Heal Prayer - Ralsei appears and begins performing a prayer; Should the move go interrupted (which can be tricky due to how long it lasts), Kris is healed signifigantly.
  • Final Smash is more or less the same, but the screen gains a sephia tone as Susie and Ralsei help Kris batter the opponent.
Toon Link Stage: Card Castle (resub from Ike)

This stage resembles a vertically-expanded version of Castle Siege's first section, having a longer ramp and an additional soft platform. There's also no additional phases to the stage, making it a bit more competitive-friendly.

Replacement ROB stage: Gyromite

This stage is half 8-bit and half HD, with the background being a HD factory where ROBs are built, and the battlefield itself being 8-bit in a similar style to the Duck Hunt stage
gyromite.png

Yellow and blue are both bars - the yellow bars (red in gameplay) will come out at once, and whenever they're not there the blue bar will appear - meaning you're either segregated or unable to KO - items projectiles can phase through the middle bar, meaning 1v1s aren't completely unplayable. Red is soft platforms, and orange is climbable rope. The stage is very large, Smicks can be seen in the background resembling their appearance in the You Cannot Beat Us advert - Dynamite will spawn on the stage, and fighters will need to collect them before they explode. When the bars fall down, they have a white light coming out of them referencing the ROB light sensors.

  1. Famicom Medley (Brawl)
  2. Gyromite (New Remix)
  3. Check (Game Boy Camera) (Obvious joke song is obvious)
  4. Beach (Mole Mania) (Terrible fit for this stage TBH, but I want it for Wuhu and Tomodachi and don't have any stages it'd fit on planned so I'll use the vague "8-bit puzzle game with pipes" connection.)

Virtual Boy (R.O.B Echo)
You'd have to take some libraties with the design but I think it's doable. The laser moves would stay but would have a B&W effect, the rocket moves would be replaced by an upwards controller swing, and throwing gyromites could be replaced with the controller or various objects from VB games

R.O.B. AT submission:
When summoned, he would spin around the stage (back & forth) and spawn gyros when he stops spinning for while.

R.O.B back special submission:
Stack-up:
R.O.B brings out the colorful five blocks out of nowhere and places them on his body to make himself more durable. When gets attacked while having a brick, he loses it but he doesn't get any damage.
(It also makes him slightly heavier to defend himself and make himself very difficult to throw)

The maximal number of blocks on himself is 5. He can also have 4, 3, 2 or 1 block on his body while activating the special.
