Knight Dude
Keeping it going.
I don't see the Mother series getting another rep. F-Zero seems really unlikely as well. But I'd say that Black Shadow would be kinda cool. Goroh has the popularity going for him though.

Yea, let's be realistic, Krystal is probably the most fapped-to Nintendo character of all time. Well eclipsing Peach or Zelda. Probably only rivaled by ZSS and Gardevoir.I'm pretty sure Krystal's furry and porn popularity isn't something Sakurai will look into if he decides to include her for smash 4. Which is mostly why she has popularity.
I like the way you think PsychoIncarnate. That way everyone wins.
He has had a change of heart because he had an epiphany and now wants Impa in. Affirmation bias concludes that someone will force themselves to dislike something in favor of a new/altered belief. So now Sheik sucks, so that Impa can be justified. Its a pretty common thing. This coming from the guy who mains Sheik in Melee? Talk about hypocritical.
Because we like him? Also, lol at thinking that all sword users will be the same.I'm a bit surprised by the amount of people who think Samurai Gorohs will definitely be in the new game, since the last new f-zero game was released nearly 10 years on the gba only in japan. Plus he'd be another sword user ontop of the most likely Takamaru, and probably a new Fire emblem lord (plus roy possibly returning).
Is the support because of his assist trophy? Or is he that popular?
Cool story. I like Birdo and Juliet Cinnabon.Because we like him? Also, lol at thinking that all sword users will be the same.
Roy might be the face in Japan but hes definitely not in the West.Marth
Ike
Roy
Roy is in because he was planned for Brawl, indicating that Sakurai has interest in him. He's also very highly requested to return (especially in Japan where he is either the most wanted or the second most wanted along with Mewtwo) and can be considered the face of the Elibe trilogy.
Chrom is a possibility, but the big issues surrounding him is his "expected but not wanted" status by most people and that he doesn't stand out in his game in comparison to other Lords (Lucina's role can be argued to be as important as Chrom and FE13 is basically Fire Emblem All-Stars).
I'm referring to importance in which Roy plays the biggest role in the Elibe games.Roy might be the face in Japan but hes definitely not in the West.
And can you stop saying nobody wants Chrom? I think we've already established that there are people who would like to see him in.
Roy appears at the end of FE7, he plays no role in it.I'm referring to importance in which Roy plays the biggest role in the Elibe games.
And don't put word in my mouth. I said most people expected but not wanted Chrom, no that everyone did.
Every person I know in real life when I bring up Chrom with thought he would be an uninteresting addition, and scolded how Nintendo needed to make more original lords. In my personal life, I know plenty of people who are excited about Chrom being in smash.\.
The director for FE13, who likely will be consulted, said in an interview that his favorite character is Robin. Considering that they already tackled the issue of a non-conflicting appearances in the cut scenes I don't see why he wouldn't at least bring it up. Plus a character using tomes is without a doubt a good thing to add to the FE roster. So yeah, can't really decide on that fourth spot. I'm open to people trying to persuade me, though. :3c
I will say that out of potential FE13 reps(Chrom/Lucina/Robin), that I am DEFINITELY leaning toward Robin. He/she is important within the game, seems to be one of the favorite characters of FE13, and the MyAvatar feature aspect most likely returning in FE games gives the character a lot of credit. The fact that he/she could have a unique playstyle is just a bonus in the end.The director for FE13, who likely will be consulted, said in an interview that his favorite character is Robin. The only reason I feel that she has a chance is because I do feel like Fire Emblem could end up with four spots on the roster. Series like Kirby and Star Fox gets three characters, and Fire Emblem certainly feels BIGGER to me, so I don't see why not really. Out of the four characters I listed for that fourth slot, Lyn probably is the least likely... But I added her only because I felt the other potential candidates had problem themselves as well, thus increasing her chance. I don't think it's impossible for her to get in, at least.I know I said I wouldn't show up til the next discussion, but like usual, I'm having trouble keeping my mouth shut. I could understand if this was a "wishlist" roster, but do people really think Lyn is going to be added at this point? Really? I mean now does she not only have Roy, who has increased in popularity, and Ike, who will receive backlash if cut as competition, who she previously "lost" to, but now she also has the possibility of an Awakening character being added against her. She didn't make it when she was the most popular, and as "recent" as she's probably ever going to get. She wasn't even planned last time (as far as we know). I can understand why people would like to play as her, and she could definitely work, but anyone actually seriously expecting her at this point is a little misguided.
