I'm just going for Marth I guess. Everyone else is up in the air imo, even those who were already in smash before (except Marth) or are fresh in many people's minds in the Fire Emblem series. So I'm just going for Marth. Blame Smashboards and its endless Fire Emblem discussions for making it more difficult than it needs to be. ¬_¬

Marth's the series mascot so he won't be going anywhere, Chrom will get in because Sakurai will want to rep the most recent FE game and Roy will get in to appease Melee fans wanting him back. There's only room for one of Roy and Ike, and Roy will probably get preference since he's much more popular amongst Smash fans than Ike (Ike is much more popular amongst actual FE fans than Roy, but unfortunately Smash fans outnumber FE fans about 10 to 1).

So Roy is the newest addition. I feel that this will be the last time people are so iffy (Until we get to third parties) but remember, if you have to see "IF" then I'm not counting the vote for that character. Like, "IF" we get DLC, or "IF" we get 5 characters.

I very very much doubt we'll get more than one KI newcomer. I also doubt it'll be anyone other than Palutena.

Little Mac, Isaac, and Shulk are pretty clearly the most likely misc. series newcomers, I just wonder how many of them we'll get. I chose to be optimistic.

And the retros should need no explanation.

Yeah, to clarify, I also think that the ones you listed have a shot, I just... don't suspect they'll make it in. They have a chance though, agreed.

And I guess I could see Medusa being a late-addition semi-clone, but I had the Pit, Palutena, Dark Pit rumor in my head when I wrote that, so I kinda forgot about that possibility. Embarrass

As great as Hades would be, Palutena is the only realistic Kid Icarus newcomer, unless Sakurai becomes uncharacteristically boastful with his characters/character redesigns and adds Medusa or Dark Pit as a semi-clone.

Takamaru and Mii are added as revived and hardware characters respectively, while Little Mac is obvious and Shulk represents a series full of content. As with several previous characters, I'd consider Isaac if I were predicting a larger roster.
