So I've been playing Online for like 2 hours today and found no FFA's, no items and only one Guy with hazards.
I did fond a bunch of people with camping characters on 3 minute 2 stock Battles, which sucks

Tbh, I'd love a Metroid game that shows Ridley's past before and how he became part of the Space Pirates.

That would sound really fun! :D ...Though I feel it is better to leave Ridley's past for individual interpretation...I mean, I feel that if they showed it, things wouldn't be as fun when it comes to imagining it. Just like how I imagine Ridley as a cute little dragon that grew to become the big baddie while others go with the Other M evolution line.

Ridley is just kinda... a wrong entity. His Other M appearance is a pretty good indication of that.

His Other M version was a mindless clone of the original tho

Stock should be tied to time. 5 minutes for two stocks and 7 minutes for three stocks. 1 stock shouldn't even be an option because that's dumb. That would help prevent cheesy camping strategies and reduce GSP farming.

There should also be an option to set more then one preference. Like, I should be able to say that I'm up for either Omega or Battlefield forms without having to pick one over the other. Or be able to say I'm up for either two stock or three stock.

The whole point of the Little Birdie in Other M was that it was smarter and more dangerous than it looked.

I'm not such a big fan of the whole Steve in smash idea. Sure, it is an iconic game, sure there is many different reasons he should be in the game. I just don't think it would fit the system. But that is just my opinion on Steve. Also not so sure about the stage builder, would be interesting though.

At least it had the decency of trying to be slightly simple. Conquest and Revelation had no idea what they were actually trying to do or be.

I'll give you that, but a wobbly story with good characters is still better than a boring story with boring characters.

I think that Fates saving Grace is in some of the Nohrian characters. But yeah, storywise, no path is that strong.
