Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Who's ready to leave this smelly old year behind, and step out into the sun that is 2019?

If I had to describe 2018 for me in one word, it'd be "roadblock". Sure something important or cool would happen every once in a while, but most days were either bland or emotionally scarring. Every good thing that's gonna happen to me is waiting in 2019, and I can't wait to get to em.

I share the same feelings.

I've never felt so useless in my life for such a long time.

Hoping to find my value in 2019.

Happy New Year!
Just tried to post an image, but it said that something was wrong, and to contact the administrator. Is this just a regular error, or is it me?
Yeah, it's a known issue with the site.

You'll have to go to Forum Support for help.

I couldn't post images until I asked for help from an Admin.

Yes, and no. I have my first year of high school this year, and my friends are going to other schools, which’ll be tough, but I also look forward to the concept of “next year”, y’know? But then, for me, it is 2019.
Good luck for next year to you.

I have to go now, but would it be open in twenty minutes or so? If so, prepare for the ‘Dorf and his mighty fist!

Waiting for the next huge tragedy to come out of nowhere again. I've lost many inspirations already.

2018, in my personal experience, was a better year then the previous 3 years of my life.

2015 was a somber year due to personal loss, 2016 was nothing but one bad day after another leading to the final 2 months filled with depression and regret and 2017 was a pretty crap year due to overstress and significant overthinking issues and Hurricane Maria striking.

2018 had some crap stuff in it (first anxiety attacks were fun...), but overall it was a much better year for me in terms of personal progress, college, trying out new stuff, making new friends and going out more to relieve stress.

I was scared of saying it, but i feel like it is time to take it off.

My friends and I had to deal with a loss too, and we had a bad time in the first half of the month.

That, alongside my personal worries and lack of trust on myself, made me feel worse and more closed.

Thankfully, we are slowly working our way out, and we are hoping that 2019 will be a better time for us.

Personally I had a really good 2018 overall, but literally everyone else around me had a horrendous time. I hope they have a better time this year(it's 2019 here now in the UK).

Game wise, it was a great year for me too. Alongside Smash I finally got a Switch, got to play Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Pokémon Let's Go Eevee, Mario Tennis Aces, Fire Emblem Warriors, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker and Kirby Star Allies...got a load of success with my animated Captain Toad moveset video and although I didn't get many newcomers in Smash, Yoshi feels better than ever to play as

I feel you. You can do it. I'm currently working on it since 2016 and it has proven results, if ever so gradually.

I believe that 2018 was a great year for gaming, movies and even comics too.

Everything else wasn't as good for me, my friends and my family, doh.

I appreciate your support.

I will contact you through private messages if i need support for some stuff.

Thanks.

For me, it had been a very interesting 2018, as I made progress in terms of what I wanted to achieve. I'm just hoping that I can go even further in 2019.

I want to make use of that Training stage. Looks like something I've always wanted for practicing. Has almost everything important on it, coupled with more CPU/player options.
And this challenge actually looks neat, but tedious.

Have we seen this before?

It might be a mod because of the low-poly textures compared to the fighters and
Jimmis Pod/Jamais Vu made this
is on the right appendage.

It reminds me of those Melee events were you played on a stage based on a trophy.
Introducing Spirit Tussle. Instead of the usual spirit battles you battle on top of the spirit pngs.

Raiden as DLC would be amazing, no lie.

This is still fake though.
