Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Bethesda rep is an easy guess. As easy as saying that Persona 5 is coming to Switch at this point. So there's nothing groundbreaking about yet another "leak" saying that there will be a Bethesda rep. That's been an expectation for months.

I don't understand how one game is "damaging the gaming industry" when everyone from journalists to common players agree that the game is a mess and not very good. Everyone is pointing and laughing at it, and the game's been on discount frequently in just the past two months, showing that its sales weren't very good. The only thing Bethesda is damaging right now is themselves.

And saying that characters don't deserve to be in Smash just because of a completely unrelated game published by the same company is entirely asinine. That's like saying Joker doesn't deserve to be in Smash because of Aliens: Colonial Marines.

on an actual serious note, i wouldn't trust any leaks that mention palette swaps or actual gameplay bits, mostly because we basically know at this point that most of the dlc hasn't even been started yet

Is there something that is related to a DLC character that is leaked and it is related to the images but you don't want to say anything?

Interesting how all those characters are from games that are supposed to come out in 2019, yet Joker is from a 2017 game. Seems pretty inconsistent to me. I guess whoever wrote that still thinks that all the DLC characters are going to be promotional in some way, when we now know that's no more of a reason than anything else.

I mean, we're probably getting something Persona 5 related in 2019, considering that recent teaser. Maybe not for the Switch though

Any leak that says “meant for base roster, but was pushed back because of of X promotion” imo is bull****.

That’s different from what has been said about Joker and the Game Awards, as that seems to make sense. Moving stuff back from base roster means more changes to contracting, profit for more than one company being changed...I don’t reall think the contract would be changed like that.

Then again, I still think people are throwing hot takes as leaks, because the fact that there still has not been a non-Japanese 3rd party in Smash yet makes me think it’s not as reliable.

The only thing I would listen to is somebody who is proven already, and not some random ****poster on the Internet who claims to know the business decisions of the people making the contracts.

I’ve been with Smash for one year and two days. I got Smash 3DS last year on Dec. 30th. Time sure flies.

we are only barely likely to get one western third party for dlc, two is absolutely not going to happen

I want to make use of that Training stage. Looks like something I've always wanted for practicing. Has almost everything important on it, coupled with more CPU/player options.
