Nah, but Ken gives me Reuben Langdon voice acting and that's the closest I'll ever get to Dante in Smash.

You say Akuma would be better as a Ryu echo than Ken then use the argument that he's more unique. Being cooler, a villain, or more iconic doesn't matter. Ken was the original echo fighter. He would always have been the first choice to echo Ryu.

So another thought about DLC...

Sm4sh came with...

• 3 vets, two semi-clones and one fully unique
• 4 unique newcomers of varying levels of gimmickiness
• 4 returning stages, three from SSB64 and one from Brawl
• 2 brand new stages, one a battlefield clone, the other incredibly gimmicky
• 3 new stages with characters, each with a complement of songs
• A handful of trophies with the characters
• An entire mode (tourney)
• 5.5 waves of several Mii costumes (wave 5 was really small and consisted of only Geno and a Chocobo)

...
I'm nervous that they're gonna try to end DLC pretty quickly this round, but we actually did get a lot for Sm4sh, despite them basically being in planning for ultimate at that time. There definitely is a lot to live up to.

Akuma doesn't really fit as a boss tbh. I could see him as an assist trophy though.

Bear in mind that Ken barely qualifies as an Echo to begin with because he already has more differences to the fighter he's an Echo of than the rest of the Echoes.
You say someone who has even MORE differences should be one instead....?

I mean, I never played SF besides once at a friends and I had no clue who Akuma was before Ryu got into Smash.

Don't get me wrong. Your argument in wanting Akuma playable should suffice on its own, but in a contest against Ken, he loses out by default (at least for Smash). He'd definitely be a character choice in a Nintendo vs. Capcom game though.

It was based on the Bandai Tamagotchi that had battles.
The Digimon ones.
