See, I'm not sure it's that easy to land. I feel Roller can be really easy to read based on the fact most Inklings are probably gonna wait until they're right next to you to start it up, so if anything it just feels like a good punish move. Plus, it can be jumped over, shielded, and can be interrupted with projectiles and certain command grabs (Isabelle's works, and I think Wario's does too?).

Neither should any of these projectiles but look how it still works. When you're hit by them though, it's not the end of the world. The philosophy of getting gud is implying that the tool in question is fair and balanced rather opposed than the player getting his or her way. If you get hit by the Roller, it is your fault, but what isn't your fault is the absurd length of time you're buried. Being hit with an F-Smash is normal if you're not a mash god, but a charged F-Smash?

While i don't care about Daisy, i don't really hate the character.

However, both her haters and fanboys annoy me in a similar way that the Raimi fanboys and haters did with Spider-Man PS4.

What should have been a neat celebration of a newcomer became a hate-fest towards Waluigi fans and a war between both sides that wasn't needed. Without mentioning people like Memoryman3 (in the case of the Raimi suit in Spider-Man PS4 was The Amazing Lucas, a twitter user that harassed and spammed many Insomniac devs and at the moment he doesn't want to apologize from the crap he did to them).

My stance? I don't care about the character, but i am happy and suppportive towards the Daisy fans that act and behave like peaceful and respectful people (i see you as one of these, btw). Besides, i was angry about another thing when she was revealed, so i didn't get any effect from her.

I agree..though I don't really see why you replied to my post like that..I never said anything about that feud (which I agree was dumb..especially since Waluigi and Daisy aren't equal in this since Daisy is an easy Echo while Waluigi couldn't be a fitting Echo of anyone due to such a size difference between him and the two that would fit him best, Luigi and Wario)

TBH I wouldn't mind a nerf on Roller if there really is a need for it, but I hear and see conflicting things about it. Makes it hard to tell if something legit needs to be done or if people are knee-jerking like with K. Rool.

Time will tell, I guess. It's not like nerfing Roller would even hurt Inkling that much, though; Nair, Fair, and D-Throw into Up-Air are all still great, and they would still have a great projectile and movement game.

He's still big and very heavy, not far off from Bowser, in addition to being rather slow. His recovery can still be intercepted from the side somewhat easily, but is harder from the top, of course. His crown can even be stolen to prevent camping from him. It's almost as if his strengths and flaws come close to balancing out...

Whenever I see people complain about characters in that manner, they generally focus on the strengths only, instead of the strengths and weakness. Not to say there isn't anything very crazy about certain characters, but still, it seems as if players take qualities of a character as better as they may seem.

TBH Blunderbuss is only good when you have the set-ups for it, it's not something you just throw out randomly.

For me, Roller is extremely predictable unless you catch someone as a punish or you're right next them and get an opening.

It's been a little while and it's a laughably bad attempt. I have a hard time sticking to things for personal reasons and wanting to take shortcuts etc

I don't believe we were asking for any damage nerfs or the ink that you'd expect people to be upset about, only the amount of time you're buried under one specific move. You already have enough time for a quick Smash, what more do you want?

I'm still standing by on team "yeah that's way too long", whether one month or one year. Getting hit by the roller has nothing to do with how long you're stuck.

There are ways to counter it, though. It's not like a zero-to-death from Bayo.

I think Roller's risk vs. reward ratio is just a bit skewed. It's not the fastest move in the world and it does have counterplays but it can be difficult to react to sometimes. It's not as hard to land as, say, Charizard's Flare Blitz from my experience.
