Mostly just because he's probably the most likable person on this thread.
He manages to make friends with just about everyone.

I've had arguments with even some of my closest friends in this forum
Noi has not done a single thing wrong his entire time I've known him on the Boards
He's just a sweetheart who draws and is cheerful when we're all cynics

We should keep Young Link so we can have Young Link vs. Skull Kid battles.

I might not have ever been an Skullkid Supporter (xD But I used Young Link in Melee for the sole fact that I couldn't stand OoT Link's voice at the time), but I still find it pretty unfair that he got separated from the Moon assist just to do some other stuff on his own that probably other characters could have done, or maybe even a Pokemon or something. It's saddening. :<

Miiverse. I swear Steve was popular on Miiverse, but it's impossible to prove without putting in literal hours of effort. An archive of miiverse exists, and it archived the Smash Bros. community, but it's difficult to search through it all as no definitive search function exists, so I would have to sift through literal years worth of Miiverse posts. Even limiting it to Ballot era is too much to work with.

I'll figure something out. Thank you for the offer though!

Speaking from experience: We had a similar sort of ranking thing in the General Silliness community on AllisBrawl back in the day and it did NOT go well.

You're totally A-tier though. But I'd be C-tier at best. I'm too much of a self-involved ***hole. My casual Midna distracts from that enough that I don't get thrown out of threads too much.

Because Y. Link in Melee was a straight up clone with no significant differences, but now that they changed Link so much, he's like the perfect "old Link" for Ultimate.

It's just a matter of "if we need to represent Zelda as best we can as a franchise", then unfortunately Young Link isn't needed. OoT is represented by Ganondorf, and Majora's Mask would be better served by Skull Kid. Young Link becomes redundant.

That said, he's my favorite Link in Ultimate. I love him. But sacrifices must be made!

Even though I want better Zelda representation, the thought of cutting Young Link again makes me fearful.

You definitely are not disliked. :> I can assure you that. Honestly, I wouldn't want to know about where I "would be", I would simply keep doing what I do most of the time which is to draw Ridley and stuff.
