Nice to see someone else support the idea of them as a duo! I've been pushing for it since Brawl, lol. I agree with giving Link back the Hookshot, as it was a very versatile tool and fit nicely on him. I like your rework for Toon Link as well; a little surprised Ultimate didn't give him anything new. Skull Kid is a heck-flippin' yeah from me, as Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda.Ooo! Ooo! I've wanted to do this for Zelda forever.

Here we go.
Characters
Stages are fine. I really like all of them but Skyworld, but since Skyworld has a battlefield/Omega version, it's fine.
- Link, Zelda and Ganon (as they are now, but give Link back his hookshot. Ganon is still loosely a Falcon clone but we love him like that now.)
- Toon Link (redoing his specials to match WW: sideB is blowing air with Deku Leaf, upB is launch into the air with Deku Leaf, B is pull a bomb, downB is the Skull Hammer for hard read kills and his grapple is the grappling hook, functioning differently from Link's hookshot. Final Smash involves using the WInd Waker to blow them into a watery cinematic where they get run over by the King of Red Lions)
- Midna + Wolf Link (Using Hyrule Warriors as heavy inspiration, work as a duo somewhat similarly to Duck Hunt.)
- Skull Kid (Again using Hyrule Warriors as heavy inspiration, final smash is obviously the moon)
- Impa/Sheik (not clones, but alternate costumes a la Olimar/Alph)
