Still don't understand why ATs are treated like they're the very manifestation of evil itself.

At least the character is in the game at all. Plus, ATs are super complex in this game; there was a lot of love asnd care put in to 'em. They're neat, and this comes from a Waluigi supporter.

Because to those people, they want the character to be playable and if it's not playable, it's an insult to said character. Again, it's a very strange tightrope Sakurai has to walk on, especially since he's never going to write a Famitsu column about why he chooses characters for ATs and why characters like Waluigi and Shadow are still ATs because he knows that commenting on it will lead to some people going ballistic. Frankly, I'd like him to be honest about it. If you felt like a character didn't have much of a strong argument for playability but people made a strong case to be in the game anyway, this was your executive decision, I can live with it. It'd stink, but I'd get over it and move on. I'm more concerned over the lack of lore for spirits in Ultimate.

really HATE to be that guy but try not to use the word "triggered" as a synonym for offended. It takes away from the actual meaning of the word, which is an actual term used for people with mental health issues such as PTSD. Let's not push that as a buzzword.

JonTron is still funny, but while I believe in separating art from the artist personally, I get people not being comfortable laughing with someone who isn't exactly a good person. Sadly this fanbase, if recent leaks turn out true, is going to be in this very predicament with the DQ composer soon.

It's not the best way to guarantee that your character will make it into the fight, especially when they now have to compete with so many ATs for a chance.

Did none of you guys know? Ever since Melee, Mr. Game and Watch was a 3D model with the same code that makes every character 2D on Flat Zone on him all the time.

Anyone watch the Smash tourney on VGBootCamp yesterday? If this is the future of competitive Ultimate, we are in for a good time. Character variety, bigger stage list, and the new zoom in mechanic are all contributing to some serious hype. I didn't even get mad when they picked Smashville and Town & City again because with the new FD mode for every stage plus the legality of stuff like Castle Siege it's been so much more interesting to watch on every level.

Seriously, I think there was only one character repeat in the top 32 and a perceived low tier like Snake won the tourney against a supposed top tier like Pikachu. So cool.

Erdick comes with a stage based on his game's region (forgot the name) and he has a move using Slime.

Joker's moveset was mentioned but I'm not aware of what it was (someone just said the leak had it), and he comes with Mementos as his stage.

I mean, though, you could see the 3D-ness of G&W’s model in previous games by using a Metal Box, as that forces him to have a texture rather than being untextured (similar thing happens with the Great Maze G&W clone, too.)

I was in a fight ones and once I was dead, the other three did nothin but taunt, not even attacking eachother. I know Id have to wait for time to roll out so I left and found an arena where thay actually fought and didnt do that

that seems less like a flaw with taunting and more a flaw with people abusing taunting, doesn't it? like I've joined quickplay FFAs where people just teabag, so classic taunt parties will exist either way (as much as they annoy me). taunts just make it more fun lol
