I said this before, but I think we need to remember that Mortal Kombat hasn't had a game released in Japan in about 20 years...
I'm not saying it's not happening, but I just find it pretty unlikely.

In my opinion, he's the Sonic of western third parties, in terms of how huge he is.
If Smash opens up to western third parties, I have a feeling he'd be the first in line.
He'd also fit Reggie's "characters you wouldn't expect" claim

Has Sakurai said no more Echo fighters in general? Last I heard they just weren't going to be part of the Fighter Pass, which leaves them open for other stuff. Them being part of Free-DLC Splatoon 2 style would be nice.

Hey guys, it's been awhile. I've been playing a lot over the weekend and now have everyone unlocked.
I've been practicing Zelda by fighting level 9 Mario in training (which is insane by the way) and actually got good results. Zelda feels sooo good in this game.
Phantom gives you so much control with how you can use it, like pressing B at any charge stage to instantly release it instead of waiting for it to strike by itself. Din's Fire is actually a pretty useful tool as well, especially now that it doesn't leave you helpless in mid air.
I've also gotten really good at sweet spotting Lightning Kick, which catches people off guard and doez good damage when they're in lower damage percents, and is a funny and satisfying kill move in high percents.
She's definitely my favorite character in the game now, and despite being tricky to get the hang of at first, is now really powerful in my hands. I'm glad my intense training paid off, and I'd be surprised if she wasn't at least mid-tier in this game.
To end things off, I may not be posting here as much anymore, now that I have the game using up my free time. But I will continue to check in every now and then to see what's going on. Also, is it just me or is King K. Rool pretty OP?

Well grenade launch is nerfed. You can’t charge it for distance anymore, has a longer startup, and just feels sluggish. Sure it makes sense for it to be nerfed (And it’s still fine after the nerf) but I feel more comfortable with Bomb Drop since it’s kind of like pre-nerf grenade.
