And no, Tales is not a Square-Enix franchise. It’s a Namco-Bandai one, which actually fits quite well into what Hitagi mentioned a few weeks back about a Namco-Bandai newcomer seeming likely.

Right, I understand. I know that Tales of is from Bandai Namco. I didn't mean that. I meant if he was talking about Square Enix or Bandai Namco. And although I'd prefer THE iDOLM@STER for the Bandai Namco rep, I can't deny that the Tales of series makes more sense, though I'd prefer Velvet to be the character chosen for the Tales of rep, since Tales of Berseria is the only Tales of game I've beaten (I've played Vesperia, the Abyss, and Zestiria though). But Yuri would make sense as a shill character with Tales of Vesperia being re-released

We've already been over this, he regretted shutting down Bayo for PxZ2. If anything, he'd jump at the possibility of fixing that mistake of his and I'm sure he'd trust Sakurai enough with Dante.

IMO the game is already looking like a 10/10 to me. If Banjo-Kazooie get in, it will be an 11/10 for me and they could literally add Cool Spot, Aladdin, Ristar, and Jean-Luc Picard for all I care and it wouldn't hurt the score. The base roster is already SO great - really any additions should only been seen as positive adds, or at worst, neutral adds.

It's criminal enough we're getting everything the base game offers for only $60.

Noctis' moveset was also pretty bland, I think it might just be the curse of guest characters in Tekken. Need to make them simple to not drive away the new people that came to play them.

Well Tekken is one of those games that does have cross over characters

Soul caliber is more known since that one had Darth Vader and yoda

So weirder things have happened

Although since Tekken 7 is rated T wouldn’t they have to tone down negan?

I didn't think Noctis looked all that bland IMO. But I also bought Noctis coming in and smashing Tekken characters around.

Negan coming in with a spiked bat and taking out the Tekken cast is ****ing laughable.
