Noctis' moveset was also pretty bland, I think it might just be the curse of guest characters in Tekken. Need to make them simple to not drive away the new people that came to play them.

Noctis Moveset was probably the only saving grace of the Characters. Wdym?
Multiple weapons and characteristics. With a good visual style a la Soul Calibur.

I didn't think Noctis looked all the bland IMO. But I also bought Noctis coming in and smashing Tekken characters around.

Negan coming in with a spiked bat and taking out the Tekken cast is ****ing laughable.

I don't mean Noctis looks bland like Negan does, but the way he plays isn't really the height of Tekken. He's far more straightforward and less execution-heavy when compared to most other characters on the roster.

When all is said and done Phoenix Wright is a very small fish in a pond full of sharks. Dante, Mega Man, Ryu, Monster Hunter, and Leon Kennedy would all be considered sharks by how iconic and groundbreaking their games are.

Ace Attorney is good. Is real good but I don't think it comes anywhere close to the caliber of some of their other franchises. If we're talking on who the next possible Capcom rep is it's probably either Leon or Dante. Especially considering they both have upcoming games that are HUGE.

Yeah, but they're not coming to Switch currently. And if per say, Nintendo wanted to maximize profit, the 3rd party character with a game also on the system with guaranteed fans and players already on board might be what they're looking for.

Again, Sakurai did meet with Takumi in 2016 during which Phoenix Wright may have already been locked in. Don't sleep on his chances fam.
