Except Zinith ...nah just kidding, you're cool too buddy!

This isn't the last time you'll see me, i'll still pop in here and there, and once the game's out i'll be back for good. But I really don't wanna be spoiled. You know how it is. I just wanna say thanks for putting up with me the past 8 months, I know i'm kinda annoying and weird but you've all been great to me.

Once we're at 12 days left I wanna do a daily countdown thing, where I post a drawing once a day until Ultimate's out, so i'm gonna do that. But besides that I won't be posting as much until release.

Don't think of it as a goodbye, more of a see you later. Because i'll definitely see you guys later! Even if you wanted to you'll never get rid of Noipoi!

While I don't think we're getting 30 characters for DLC, I think y'all need to relax a little and realize that Smash isn't going to get just 5 characters because "It's Smash". Mario Tennis is now on...7 characters? Granted, the work isn't really the same amount, but most games that Nintendo has released some forms of DLC have been healthily supported.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised by a Fighter Pass 2, but beyond that it gets murky for me.

Just saw the full Splatoon list, and while it has a lot of good ones, it's strangely missing Ebb & Flow. Omitting that yet having Muck Warfare and Acid Hues is odd to me when Ebb & Flow seems to be more popular and used than those two. Also, does anyone have solid info on what song "Full Throttle Tentacle" is? Some say it's Ebb & Flow, some say it's Color Pulse.

30 DLC characters is not impossible imo, if they're planning to support the game for the next 6 years or so (smash 4 had a 4 yearsish lifespan, so its reasonable to assume that Ultimate could stay around for about 6 years). With 1 season (5 fighters) per year during 6 years it would make 30.

I'm not trying to prove anything here except the fact that it's not an unrealistic number if you consider the potential longevity of the game. I know it's hard seeing things in a long term perspective since we're almost counting the hours until the game comes out.

Of course, this is assuming they are placeholders and not just blank spots cause that happens lol

This is a case of Ultimate's character numbering being based on Smash 4's, which was based on Brawl's numbering.

This lends credence to the idea that Smash 4 and Ultimate pulled their characters from Brawl and Smash 4 respectively to ease development.

That’s basically the case.

Snake, Wolf, Ice Climbers, and PKMN Trainer still in the same order as Brawl. So they were probably were based on their Brawl data.

Melee was outdated and explains why Young Link and Pichu are placed after Bayonetta. With the Everyone is here idea was thought up first also being a point as well.

One day I hope Nintendo invests in a Melee-esque opening that has CG that syncs up with the main theme again.

That was also Melee's reveal trailer. So they've essentially done that about 15 times since with every game and character reveal.

I skimmed through when I woke up to see the whole thing about some guy called "Xenother", Luigi The President posted it first, but then vaanrose came out with the ****ing Brock Lesnar-Suplex City-levels of catching red flags.

IIRC it was either Vergeben putting stock in him or it actually was him in disguise. Honestly I don't even know anymore, the whole news was a surprise to me so I'm trying to figure out what the **** happened.
