Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Opening cutscene says Galeem aims to create a new world. While this is kinda similar to what Tabuu wanted, shouldn't he be trying to pull stuff into the Subspace?

I'm pretty sure Galeem is a whole different beast, though Tabuu might make an appearance.

Tabuu more than likely isn't Galeem. Tabuu was presented as a more alien-like abomination, but Galeem is presented exactly like the classical depiction of a Seraphim.

They both look like Kirby bosses alike, with glass-like bodies and wings of light but I don't think they are the same thing, neither.

Also, I can't really see them going trigger-happy with bosses, they're likely aren't easy to make.

I hope that the Master and Crazy Hand boss battles are still in the game.

Perhaps they’ll act as the bosses for the Miis’ classic modes?


Still, I’m excited for the new classic mode. It looks super fun.

So

If M.Hand represents the person who plays with the toys, C.Hand is their wack younger sibling, and Tabuu is the social norms not allowing teens/adults to play with toys as they get older...

What could Galeem represent? And why are their multiple Master Hands? And why do they all serve Galeem?

Opening cutscene, Giga Bowser as a boss, the other side of the difficulty slider in Classic Mode, Palutena's Guidance is back... I'm starting to think I've missed a few things over the weekend.

I usually just check the Smash subreddit a few times a day, but that place has been flooded with a million threads about the results of Smash Summit (because apparently one isn't enough) and other clips/info, so I didn't see any actual news.

Only in the Smash community would her wrapping up voice over be more indicative of Edelgard being Smash DLC than, you know, her finishing recording for Three Houses itself...

or Galeem is Sakurai who's sick of all these requests so he tries to end Smash by literally ****ing murdering the entire playerbase (the Hands) as they go to play with the characters and using their souls to kill every character except for his son

ok so basically every overwatch character is in the game. sakurai really really really loves overwatch so he wants to be tracer but im already tracer what about widowmaker im already widowmaker ill be bastion nerf bastion you're right so winston i wanna be winston i guess ill be genji im already genji then ill be mcree i already chose mcree so he got so sick of this that hes adding all the characters to his own game so he can be tracer/widowmaker/bastion/winston/genji/mcree whenevery the **** he wants

Ah, I see. That explains that. Some of this stuff is getting into spoilery territory a bit, so for the first time since June, I'll be holding back on seeing every single new thing that gets revealed.

It's exciting, though. Just 17 days away.

Uh...unless there’s a Smash hint, I’m pretty sure it’s just a different game. Don’t want another Isaac/Rathalos incident do we?

On a bittersweet note, would you want your most wanted that didn’t get in to be a Mii Costume?

Sort of a K.Rool/Geno attempt to please those?

so is Skull Kid's mask O U C H

A Midna mii hat would be great and so would an Elma costume tbh
