Why would Rex and Pyra be a part of it though? Rex's costume comes with the pack.

Does the very fact that a Rex costume is DLC that is a bonus for purchasing a DLC Pack and serves to make up for Rex not being playable not cross your mind in regards to said DLC Pack?

The cynicism isn't appreciated, but Rex & Pyra are, in my opinion, too popular to exclude.

Regardless, I changed them to Euden from Dragalia Lost, who I believe has an actual chance.

This one was actually on my radar for quite some time. Well designed imo. Not too much, but not too little. Good job.

Lol I dont disagree with you. Im not a big mobile game fan myself, so I know nothing of the character. I try to look at any potential characters with the least amount of bias as possible.

I wouldnt mind this character tho, his design is alright. I would just hope his moveset would offer players something that the FE characters dont.

Corrin does that too though...

He could have an interesting mechanic where he changes into a full dragon as a part of his moveset (similar to Cloud's Limit Break, except it's a timed transformation instead of an attack) and gets increased strength and durability, but lower speed and less attacks because of it.

Though Rex and Pyra are quite popular in Japan I heard, so you got one advantage there.

Euden wasn't that bad for the week and a half that I had Draglia Lost installed tbh, he's just too similar to what we already have with the blond hair, royalty, swordfighter, turning into a dragon, etc. Dragalia Lost as a whole just felt a bit too... generic at times and Euden is definitely a the forefront of that problem.

She's not first party because Nintendo doesn't own enough to actually own the IP.

Anyways, our lineup looks something like this as of right now:

• Square Enix Rep (confirmed)

• "Nintendo Swordfighter"
• Namco Rep
• ???

Based off of this, my thoughts are:

• Sora
• Steve
• Euden
• Heihachi
• Doom Slayer

This would be a solid DLC lineup imo.

If it's anything that Hitagi is implying it would be:

- Erdrick/Slime
- Steve
- Edelgard (don't forget she also uses swords)
- Heihachi
- Katalina

I know Geno is not disconfirmed, as Spirits do not deconfirm characters, it is just Geno always misses out.
Still, he is not impossible.

Honestly that's part of the reason I came out with the truth now of all times. In case there's truth to the Nintendo Swordfighter claim but it isn't Celica, I don't want to give people false hope. Can't do my second favorite lord like that, you know?
