I hope I am wrong.

This is gonna be one of those things I like but everyone else hates, isn't it?

The thing I love about BOTW is that it goes back to its roots, where it's exploration-heavy and not hard driven by the plot. Something that ALTTP started, and kept ever since. The lack of variation in exploration became a bit boring for quite some time. It's why things like Randomizers have breathed life into the various games. It completely changes the design and lets you do what you want way more often than just going in a near straight line.

Impa was also pretty cool in the game, really. I've found her more elderly selves to be a bit more interesting than the slim variations. She has a lot of great stories to tell and lore behind her. She doesn't need to be young to be cool.

I wish the Movie is good but I know it wouldnt because Illumination Studios

I hope I am wrong.

Instead of agreeing with the general consensus that the "Minions company" can't make a good movie, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Illumination has a good record with making successful movies (for reasons I still don't understand), so I'm hoping this Super Mario film along with the Detective Pikachu movie convinces Nintendo to delve even further into the movie industry with other franchises like Zelda and Metroid. Seriously, both of those franchises would make awesome movies if done right.

Illumination Studios isn't incapable of making a solid entertaining kids flick I don't know why this notion is passed around.

Despicable Me, Sing!, Secret Life of Pets are all solid entertaining kids flicks that both critics and audiences loved.

So it's not like it's impossible for them to make a good movie.

What do you think about the idea of Outer, Player's Character in Daemon X Machina, being the last DLC character? It would make some sense. Daemon X Machina's release window is just 2019 right now, so the last fighter being early 2020 means that it would be months after the game's release and I'm sure MARVELOUS would work with the Smash team before launch. It would make sense from Nintendo's point of view, just like with Bayo they're promoting an exclusive that might have more installments in the future.
I don't think as a fighter the Outer would be in their Arsenal (their Mech) , as I'm pretty sure it's actually too big. From my measurements, it's about 3.5 times the size of the Outer, who is superhuman, so they're probably either simmilar size to the other human characters in smash or taller. I'm researching a potential moveset for them rn, might do a seperate post about that.

That would make sense, actually.

That game's big deal is that both the pilot and the mech can become stronger over time, so it's reasonable to have him, while the mech can be used for FS purposes.

Honestly i always liked Illuminations movies. I wouldn't call them masterpieces, but they are enjoyable.

I dont know. From what I have seen. The critiques are about how much they prefer to stay average and safe. They arent a company that takes any risks and it sells amazingly well. Their movies are also rather cheap to make comparatively. People are worried that it could end up changing the industry if Illumination keeps being amazingly successful despite producing average movies and other studios start doing the same.
