He's probably going to stop deconfirming characters after a while, or else people are just going to constantly ask.

It's also an amazing game with great gameplay, story, and characters. I can't recommend it enough.

But to get the whole game Platinum is over 80 hours lmao. I'm in my third run right now and STILL not finish with 5 trophies

Man I'm so stoked to find out what the DLC characters are... does anyone have any cool game recommendations coming out in the next month or so to tide me over until we learn their identities?

The Wii cult classic 428: Shibuya Scramble got brought in English on PS4, it seems interesting enough (and has 50 endings).

Also, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, it's awesome.

As a day one Incineroar fan, I can vouch for this.

So like, what's the general consensus on what DLC you would purchase according to what they are rumored to be? I personally am going to be buying all 5 regardless of what they are since I play competitively.

Ignoring Steve for as long as possible, so I'll get Katalina. I have no idea who's coming otherwise though.

if you happen to have an xbox one i would recommend it.
i will recommend it on PS4.
i want to recommend it on PC, but don't unless you have a strong PC and a controller.

Well, I think it's good to doubt sometimes. makes the event that he is it that much more exciting and fulfilling.
but i don't think you've got too much to worry about.

I mean, Hitagi is pretty reliable, but vergeben didn't say they're a guarantee leaker to believe 100%, just that they're a reliable leaker who usually has similar info to Vergeben.

The whole thing about Nintendo picking the DLC doesn't make him seem likely. But it could go any way really.

Either
1) Nintendo knows how much fans want Geno and want to release him as DLC for all the die-hards

or

2) Nintendo thinks he's irrelevant and wants to release DLC that would sell more to children

Honestly option 2 seems more likely to me but idk

All right, consider the following: you know about those old Fist of the North Star games in which enemies get punted away when you attack them?

The new All-Star mode gives that treatment to ALL the playable characters.

That was the same amount for my first run. I'm already clocking in 160+ hours in the third run so I'm forced to look at a strategy guide to make sure I'm doing things right lmao


The only thing that I find interesting about the DLC right now is that how Nintendo is picking the characters. While I say it works well in the terms of fan-favorites (Geno, Banjo, Crash, etc), the rumored names that are being popped up is making it feel like Sakurai had a say in these picks as well and seems like he pitched the characters to Nintendo to get approval

Yeah outside of a balance patch there has been like nothing for Cross Tag for quite a while. Considering it's not got a lot for casual players a decent stream of new content is really needed for it to keep people's attention. Tmk we still don't have all the promised colors yet either.

Basically before you got breaks in the middle, you'd fight 5 or so characters and then go to the rest area where there were three heart containers.

It wasn't endless so basically it was how fast you could beat everyone (or in some cases, if you even could beat everyone.)

Now it's essentially Endless Melee from Multi Man, so instead of being how fast you can do it, now it's how long you can last (if I understood Sakurai's comment correctly.)

So basically it's which you prefer more. Some might like the challenge of whittling down their time and doing things as fast as possible, others might like having to dodge and last longer against nonstop opponents.
