Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

That makes three. R.O.B. has had three different Final Smashes.

It was seen in the Smash Live 2018 tournament against Pit.

Pit, who ironically has had three different Final Smashes.

I actually like XB2 over XB1. I hated Shulk, I couldn't stand him, and I had no idea if/when in the game I would come around on him.

You can reverse add me, did finally breach 100 hours on it a couple weeks ago in time for Torna and despite a complex of issues present is still one of my favorite RPGs I've played (though as a game and a story I have to give XC1 the gold)

What? You think native tribes never had political coups that resulted in internal conflicts (i.e. Civil Wars)? Political subterfuge and the power hungry that cause it are not modern inventions.

And Native Tribes absolutely went to war with each other.

Breaking news. Smashboards Commenter @Alastor017 was found dead in an alleyway, according to the autopsy report, he was covered head to toe in boot footprints from some kind of stampede.

I dunno. Rathalos being in might suggest the opposite. Besides, considering how the newer stuff for Phoenix is coming, it makes sense to include Wright as advertising.

I saw his new Final Smash, and I'm so glad it's changed. It looks awesome now. His one in Smash 4 was balls.

Nothing will ever beat his Brawl FS, though. If you got someone off the edge of the stage when you had it, they were absolutely screwed.

Honestly, as big a Shulk fan I am...
I really hate actually playing Xenoblade.
I'm all in it for the story and characters so if neither appeals to me, there's really nothing for me.

XCX had a great premise but its plot was thin. I was invested, then fell off until I trudged into the finish line.
XC2 had a... weird premise, but God, could I not get into Rex adventures. I wasn't invested at all throughout 80% of the plot until the very end where the plot-twists start rolling in where I'm like "holy ****, this is radical."

Ah, you're right! I do remember hearing about that quite some time ago, but I must have forgotten about it. :lol:

It's too bad that version didn't release stateside, though part of me hopes that we'll get an HD collection for Switch sometime down the road, especially with Tales of Vesperia DE coming soon. At the very least, I'm hoping that KOS-MOS's XC2 cameo will lead to something nice for her, whatever it may be (if it lead to an Ultimate appearance, then I'd be ecstatic).

KOS-MOS as the Namco Rep would make sense, considering she's the next closest thing to a mascot that Namco has after Pac-Man. No Tekken or Tales of, both massive series in their own rights, would confuse me though.

I don't even play Halo, but Master Chief would be a legitimately amazing addition, if you're going to Microsoft you may as well go all-in with their gaming mascot. And Doom Guy is a genuinely beloved character who is part of the formation of the entire FPS genre, he's equally (if not more) amazing.

While Goku requests can be sincere, they're much likelier to be ironic, given most people at least have the understanding that non-gaming characters can't make it to Smash.

(No disrespect, just saying the big daddies of FPS have a legitimate reason for inclusion and legitimate backing)

I'm just gonna say it. Some of ya'll have trash taste in JRPGs (Except you Idon Idon . You're cool). Keep hating on XC2, I'll be here, not giving a damn :p.

Speaking of advocating for characters.

This was posted on the Isaac thread, there's some interesting visuals in Galeem's attack in the World of Light trailer.
I don't know if this was posted already, nor do I care. I just thought it was an interesting coincidence (assuming it's a coincidence and not a reference, but I doubt that).

Ngl, Dungeon Travelers 2 looks like it double downs on the **** I hated in XC2.

Then again I shouldn't expect much from a Vita exclusive at this point
