I absolutely love Xenoblade Chronicles. Great story, amazing characters, fun gameplay, relatively good sidequests and collectables, I could go on. Can be a bit much at times, but isn't too difficult to understand once you get into it.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2? I just...can't get into it. The story is similar to the subpar anime shows that I watched in middle school, complete with the same old hamfisted anime tropes and fanservice. The characters are similarly based off of tropes and lack a certain depth that the Xenoblade Chronicles crew had. Rex is literally just a harem anime protagonist. Prove me wrong. The gameplay is overly complex (as if you could make Xenoblade's combat more complex), and the Gacha elements in blade summoning are just annoying. Also Rex's voice performance is just bad. Like:

Compared to the mastery of the original Xenoblade Chronicles, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is too different.

Completley unrelated to XB2, but damn the end of that video.

Sometimes I'm glad the Golden Sun series ended before the modern era of Nintendo RPGs. To see Golden Sun now with big tiddy anime girls, voice acting, and gacha mobile games would probably be too much for me.

I have been on a roll with writing my thoughts on Smash speculation as a whole and the final Smash direct. So far, I only wrote the introduction, but I have like four paragraphs going into detail on how I exactly felt about the direct and speculation: before, during, & after. I am enjoying doing my write-up as of now.

I think they could do the most recent Dragon Quest hero or they could do Jade from the new Dragon Quest she could work. I had to look up who she was, but after seeing her character I think it could work.

I feel like Square really is that insistent, it would be out of character from previous company business partnerships. Even in Final Fantasy 15 when they had the Assassins Creed festival it seemed like an out of nowhere partnership. Until you got to Assassins Creed Origins and realized Ardyn was in it and you could get Noctis's engine blade. Same with the Monster Hunter cross over with Capcom, it provided exposure to FF14 expansion. Or 2B in Soul Calibur 6, it provides exposure to Neir Automata or Noctis in Tekken. In fact a perfect example of this is Maximillian Dood a popular Youtuber who had never played FF15 and initially did not like Noctis in Tekken when he was announced. He ended up liking Noctis in Tekken so much that he decided to play FF15 to see what its about and fell in love with it. Every time that iv noticed that Square lends its characters there is always a benefit to them in some way. With Geno I just don't see them benefitting in any way in fact they would be charitable if he got in. And I know based on previous conversations I could tell you were just testing to see what was the best argument, which is very wise.

I only know a lot because I had done a lot of research beforehand to see who is the most likely candidate for the Square Enix rep. I did a lot of research, I looked into game sales, character polls outside of smash, Nintendo partnerships, partnerships with other companies and game popularity. By looking into all those factors I came to the conclusion the most likely candidates would be a Dragon Quest character or Sora. They just are more logical based on having high sales, high popularity, loyal fan base, partnerships with Nintendo and being representatives of Square Enix. Theres a lot more I could go into, but I would take forever in explaining it all.

I agree we wont know until they announce it and I think we will know by sometime in January as I think they will follow a pattern of every two months a character release. So if my logic is correct I believe the first DLC will be in February. As for Katalina I do not know enough about her to draw a conclusion yet. I do see another female character being a good thing, so ill just stick with that for now ha.

If Square is as you say then the most probable DQ rep is Eleven, if not then the ones I mentioned earlier. I don't think they'll go for a heroine unless it's a swap.

I'm not aware of those incidents, so I can't give my opinion, but I'll take your word for it. Hmm, what a weird company. So would you say the same if there were actually two square reps DLCs? I'm guessing your answer is yes, that means (according to your understanding of Square) there's just no hope whatsoever for Geno, no matter how many DLC spots they get, as he sits in the bottom of their well. Well, We'll see if I misjudged Sakurai or not.

The release pattern is not what we're looking for here, we just need those 5 announced. That will put a lot of us in rest. This should happen soon, if Nintendo expects to sell those Fighter's Passes quicker. Yet since it's not a limited offer, and Sakurai asked to keep those hidden and beileve in the value of his choices, it might not happen the way it should. Soo, I don't know, I'm hoping not but they might get announced intervally. I personally don't want to be preordering Steve X)

Most JRPG series aren't really that good nowadays. The only series I like are SMT, Golden Sun, and Xenoblade.

It's pretty good. Main plot is bleh, but the character interactions and combat were fun.

It's the only Final Fantasy I've ever played, but I platinumed it on PS4, so I had definitely had fun with it.

Although I am kinda pissed I beat it before they started adding all these new story updates and cutscenes to it. I wish I had waited to play it so that the story was actually complete...

once i got to the nopon is where i decided to drop the series
that was genuinely uncomfortable moment, and not like a horror game or something like spec ops the line
