Smash footage is smash footage, even if it is an old demo (or based on an old demo).

Bit weird? Not really considering Chorus Kids were a scrapped character in Smash 4. It's easy to assume Sakurai would readd them.

I’m crossing my fingers that Mircosoft/Rare request Sakurai to give them their regular voices ala Wii Fit team did theirs.

As much as I hate Bowser and the Kong’s current animal sounds and prefer their canon voices, they do make some sense.
They didn’t always have human voices and have had roars/growls/ooks in various games such as SM64, Mario Kart, DKC etc.

K.Rool probably had to be given the same treatment since he’s the villain and has to be threatening, his goofy voice from Sluggers probably would’ve clashed with his enemies.

It goes against Banjo’s character though, he’s not supposed to bad*** like Bowser & DK or an ordinary animal wearing clothes like Diddy.
He’s always been a anthromoprhic goofball like Yoshi & Sonic.

Banjo never had realistic sounds like Bowser and the Kongs have had in the past, so I don't think there's anything to worry about.

Gematsu originally reported on the Chorus Kids (who was believed to have gotten information straight from the project plan) and there's a Rhythm Heaven icon grouped with the series that have playable characters in Smash for Wii U and 3DS. There's a lot of thinks one that could be considered "weird" about this leak, but I wouldn't call them one of them.

I dont see how the guy there could fake it
- there are different people designing, cutting, packaging etx
- someone would of surely noticed had he used company resources to print these giant banners and decor

Not to mention that its a colored thing so more ink

This reminds me of that one minigame in Sonic and the Secret Rings where players had to put out fire trails before they reached the barrels in front of them and exploded. I can just imagine a version of that with the Nintendo Ninjas and insiders.

TO me this means IF the leak is fake then Ken and Shadow pretty much confirmed.

If you're lucky enough to find a printing company with visible ties to either Bandai Namco or Nintendo, working backwards from there wouldn't be all too crazy once you can find out a name that works there. One of the biggest things that supported this rumor at one point was there being a visible "connection" between one of the companies and Bandai Namco, despite them not handling marketing. Of course a lot of this also supposes that the LinkedIn profiles were legitimate to begin with, seeing how those were deleted. Conveniently; wasn't he the only name listed for one of those companies?

It wouldn't be luck, it would be a calculated decision if this was fake. You'd find a company that would maximize the odds people would be suckered and go from there. Marina straight up said they had Bamco ties, it isnt that farfetch'd.

It literally doesn't matter if the LinkedIn accounts are real when people have called up the company and confirmed Eric works there?

Is there anything that really makes the Spawn Cast worth listening to over any other voice? Not to be rude, but I've never heard of these guys. I don't understand why their opinion is really worth discussing in depth, especially if they aren't giving any real evidence to back up their claims.

So what are our chances of getting a direct next week? I'd say about 50/50 between next week and the week after.

It basically has to be. The 2 weeks before release is too close if there's just 1 direct. The week before that is thanksgiving, which would be problematic. The week before that is Let's Go's release, which they probably don't want to interfere with.

Until now I think next direct will show 7s two new fighters, because the playlist for gameplay videos has been updated again (noted with 1 behind the playlist title) and I wish it will be very soon.
This discussion with "fake, not a fake" and so on is a little bit annoying to me. We will know the full cast of fighters when the game is out.

Not everyone has the top of the line camera phone. And maybe they didn't get photos of it close up because they weren't intending to show it.

Snapchat is always a worse quality than your phone's camera (or so I'm told)

Might of been trying to be quick and sneaky about it? So he takes a fast picture of it before anyone could notice. Many work environments frown upon using your phone to take a picture of any work and/or projects. My dad develops production lines for the steel industry, so he's had coworkers be written up and/or fired for taking pictures of projects with their personal phones that aren't public knowledge yet.

Ken is pretty much a lock in my eyes. That's probably the one good thing that came out of the hours of Box Theory speculation.

Yes, but remember that Incineroar isn't the crux of the whole thing. I don't see why people on this board are directly pointing that out to be the case when they're apparently multiple characters out there.

If the leak is fake, there's going to be a huge Banjo push for DLC I feel, more than the other characters.

I don't see why SpawnCast's words should mean anything. Anyone could jump on the bandwagon and say they have sources that have confirmed Incineroar.
Hell, my sources have told me that Shantae is planned for DLC, using Zelda's animations as a base, and there will be a new Zelda rep, but Skull Kid is just a boss.
There's nothing that can prove me wrong there, but at the same time, I have no bloody way to prove that I'm right, or that my "source" is right.

Honestly, I see Incineroar being the final rep as extremely unlikely. This is Smash Ultimate, and having such a (debatable) lame character (in comparison to what we got before) as the final unique newcomer very unlikely. It just comes off as a hype killer. I definitely see the banner leak as more likely, for what this game is.

Dixie is 80% or 50% depending on whether DLC echoes will be a thing or not. 80% if DLC echoes happen, 50% if not cause she'll need to be unique then, which is far from impossible, just less likely.
Edelgard is 10% honestly. We don't know her role in the latest FE yet, and I think Sakurai knows this time more FE is pushing it.
Monster Hunter is 0% I think. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard MH devs actually don't want them as a fighter because they're an avatar.
Skull Kid is 60% imo. If he didn't make the base game, then his rise in popularity is still apparent, so they may consider him for DLC.
Sylux... I'll give him 30%. Wouldn't mind more Metroid rep, but I think Sakurai is satisfied with what he gave the series this time around.

Possible, of course, but I don't know a thing about this line of work so I couldn't say one way or another. Is no one monitoring the floor/his station/the printer? How long does it take to print such a thing in the first place? Maybe it's entirely too time consuming to get away with. Or maybe not. Or maybe he actually had permission. Maybe he's got a chill boss and it was a slow day so they just went... **** it, go ahead.

If anyone does know more about how these places work, feel free to chime in.
