I kinda feel Dixie and Bandana Dee will be DLC if the banner leak is true. Other then that, pretty legit prediction I could almost see it happening.I think we'll 8 DLC fighters. 6 brand new, 2 echo. 1 or 2 every two or so months.
My guesses (more so wishes)
January- Sora to coincide with KH3 and the release of Final remix on switch, which is announced with his reveal.
March-Springman, Ribbon girl echo. Announced with a huge Arms update and/or DLC package
May- New fire emblem rep to promote Three Houses
July- Monster Hunter.
September-Octoling Echo, announced with Splatoon 2 update
November-Gen 9 pokemon. Update will come with new pokeball pokemon.
December- Andy with a new Advance Wars title for both Switch and mobile.
It's not just them, though. But their attitude of it is what is giving people pause. The thought that GameXPlain might have insider information which causes them to not talk about the Grinch leak is like having the matrix within The Matrix. This is a theory within a theory of a leak.
Lmao. Whoops. Too many pokemon and generations to keep up with now.Fixed that for you.
If you're lucky enough to find a printing company with visible ties to either Bandai Namco or Nintendo, working backwards from there wouldn't be all too crazy once you can find out a name that works there. One of the biggest things that supported this rumor at one point was there being a visible "connection" between one of the companies and Bandai Namco, despite them not handling marketing. Of course a lot of this also supposes that the LinkedIn profiles were legitimate to begin with, seeing how those were deleted. Conveniently; wasn't he the only name listed for one of those companies? This guy is close to the most obscure person on the planet. You'd have a better team fake theory if it was someone who hated ol' Eric and made up a leak to get him fired, not someone going through every company, settling on a French one, and picking a company with no obvious Nintendo ties
Perhaps I probably shouldn't have said "rushed". While I was thinking that it became a bit apparent that it seemed more intentional than anything. It's definitely this specific MS paint brush. But what I've found is it takes only three passes to render the text entirely illegible, and the brush isn't even at the largest setting in the leaked image.
I'd also argue it's unlikely he was rushed, given he took the time cut the three images together, after the name was "scrubbed."
with that specific brush it's very easy to mistake it being fully solid, i would not be surprised if the bad cover upping of his name was an oversight by whoever Eric sent the snap toExcept zero manipulation is required. The name is visible to the naked eye.
They talked about it in their weekly update...What was GameExplain's response to the Ken Leak? As in, did they talk about it much outside their initial video? Because they might just not like talking about leaks. I'm pretty they've never or rarely mentioned text leaks like Vergeben's.
This is what I don't get about this argument: How would linking a fake leak to Eric Bricard and his company make the leak stronger given that the likely conclusion to that plan would have been that he and the company would have denied any association with Smash Nintendo like Marina? How would the leaker know that the company wouldn't have put out any sort of statement killing the fake leak on the spot?Team Fake theory here:
They covered the name but left it visible so that people would easily find it.
They wanted people to find the name, because it's the name of a person who works with promotional stuff etc.
It was only to make the leak more credible and the actual person is not connected with the leak in any way, they just found that name and decided to use it.
The fake leaker will never come out because he could get into legal troubles for what he did: we'll never know anything about all this, it will fade into obscurity.
You're probably right. I'd probably take out Ribbon Girl for Dixie and Bandana Dee for Andy or Monster Hunter.I kinda feel Dixie and Bandana Dee will be DLC if the banner leak is true. Other then that, pretty legit prediction I could almost see it happening.
And yet we can only see the name on 1 of the 2 snaps. It's a botched job.Except zero manipulation is required. The name is visible to the naked eye.
I do hate saying this, but I think that a discussion on how Banjo could be in and maybe even some searching for clues that lead to this other than social media statements could lead to something...Im still confused on why people really think that Banjo can happen only because of a statement. I mean... nobody is considering really how HUGE this would be if it actually happens. This is an iconic 90’s Video Game character being a playable character in one of the BIGGEST Nintendo game of all time. Not only that, but Banjo still belongs to Microsoft and has not been sold over to Nintendo or has there ever been any deal between the two besides RARE being bought. This is a major, GAINT, tech corporation allowing Nintendo to use a specific character from their list of 2nd parties, no deals or anything, no acquisitions... and even no real benefit to Microsoft? Again these are the people who thought they owned Donkey Kong after they bought Rare...
I think the only thing that could Dissuade me is if anybody can tell me about a 2nd party or 1st party of a company crossing over to a rival company’s game. Not something where they were already working at a lower level or the rights were sold off or something... an ACTIVE 2nd or 1st party crossing over into a rival company’s game...
This has been my theory the whole time, covering the name makes it look like there's something to hide that he doesn't want people to see.Like I said, I'd wager they pulled it up in paint.

They were probably rushing or something, and the "watercolor brush" is just larger than the solid brushes.
Otherwise, they probably did it on purpose to lead people on a goose chase.
EDIT: I realized I'm not the only person who's said this. Neat. Haha
The LinkedIn profiles were made a long time ago. His second one citing him working at the new company for 1y and 8m, supporting the fact he hadn’t worked at Marina since 2016. Also, I think they were set to private, not deleted. If you're lucky enough to find a printing company with visible ties to either Bandai Namco or Nintendo, working backwards from there wouldn't be all too crazy once you can find out a name that works there. Pac not having that was a crime. Are you kidding
If this isn't K. Rool's death-knell when he dies falling to the bottom blastzone I'll be hella disappointed. It'd be ALMOST as bad as Pac-Man not getting this for his Star KO noise:
Smooth Criminal
It's like the perfect murder hidden as an accident lol. This is what I don't get about this argument: How would linking a fake leak to Eric Bricard and his company make the leak stronger given that the likely conclusion to that plan would have been that he and the company would have denied any association with Smash Nintendo like Marina? I doubt he would use animal noises for Banjo, they are such an iconic part of his character and D.K used animal voices in the original DKC games.NOW WAIT JUST ONE DANG MINUTE
If Banjo gets in, would he keep his iconic goofy voice or will Sakurai pull the ol’ realistic animal noises trick.
You would think he would respect them as third parties but Bowser, all the DK reps, two of which being created by Rare were made animalistic over their goofy voices.
February or April - Incineroar, to coincide with the the evolution of Ash's Torracat into an Incineroar.I think we'll 8 DLC fighters. 6 brand new, 2 echo. 1 or 2 every two or so months.

What the hell does this even have to do with Trump? Like that's the big what of it all.I apologize if this has been brought to attention already (as this thread is just too fast to keep up with now) but I saw this interesting post in a comment chain on /v/.

I had this same thought. Also here is a intresting Gamefaqs thread

It's 4chan. I've seen so many of those kinds of posts that they are worthless.I apologize if this has been brought to attention already (as this thread is just too fast to keep up with now) but I saw this interesting post in a comment chain on /v/.

This is why -Moreover, you'd have to ask yourself what 50+ year old is using snapchat, let alone with memey stickers and language worthy of a teenager.
Yeah, you're right. Referring to their ESRB discussion with Derrick calling it fake, and now it looks like reasons about why grinch leak was just calling it fake and then move on.The thought that GameXPlain might have insider information which causes them to not talk about the Grinch leak is like having the matrix within The Matrix. I honestly could see why Microsoft would make a deal with Nintendo about adding in Banjo. What if Nintendo has some arrangement with Microsoft that Microsoft gets a cut of the money from smash bros ultimate in exchange for representation? I have friends buying a switch just so they can play smash so Microsoft obviously assumes that the profit is gonna be significant so it is a good deal for them. Besides, Microsoft seems to like the idea of having some of their reps in smash because smash has become such a huge game. Smash single handily features several of video game’s iconic legends and in addition, it also can convince people to buy the game that the character is from. Overall, I think Microsoft would not mind at all reaching a deal with Nintendo.Im still confused on why people really think that Banjo can happen only because of a statement. I mean... nobody is considering really how HUGE this would be if it actually happens. Maybe there's one of those little puffs of whatever that kinda floats on the wind that everybody tries to grab out of the air when they fly by, and he's reaching up to grab it? I bet Ken has a soft side. For no reason in particular, I'm treating the leak banner as a coloring book and I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out what Ken is supposed to be doing. At first glance to me, it kinda looks like he should be going to a chiropractor, but maybe I'm thinking about it wrong.

They've grown a lot bigger since then. They have over a million subs now.In other words, it looks like they want to call it fake quickly and then move on. 20 minutes dicussion didn't cause nintendo to be angry at them for discussing the leak, but now for some reason, I'm willing to believe that gamexplain don't want to ruin nintendo's sponsorship.
Ken's is definitely a fire shoryuken, both the right arm and right leg are raised, his left leg seems blocked by whover is below him.For no reason in particular, I'm treating the leak banner as a coloring book and I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out what Ken is supposed to be doing. Definitely a lot harder to me to play coloring-book with than Banjo

Greninja's tongue is unforunately placed, though.
I'm not trying to make any claims with this, by the way. Just doing for fun and out of curiosity. Not submitting this as any sort of argument.
