Considering it doesn't have to be a 3rd stage (Water has Squirtle and Grass has Ivysaur, after all) My preference would be Torracat or Braixen. Braixen is really popular in Japan which helped it get its Pokken spot, and it was a main character in the anime. Torracat now has a spot in the anime and just has a wonderful design imo.

Also, rip Johto. Nobody is suggesting Typhlosion/any Johto starter

I felt that way til I played the Legacy XP mod with playable Ridley. He was sort of clunky since it was a fan-made thing, but wow was he fun. The way they designed him was really great in concept.

I'll be honest, the first hour I played Ridley I was like "Tf were they drinking when making this?" But the more I played him and got used to his movement and odd fan-mod quirks, he was great. Tail stabbing people was super fun and his fire breath was fun when I got used to using it. I think with official Nintendo polish, he'd contend for my favorite character to play, and I don't think I even qualify as a "Ridley Supporter".

Y'know what I really want from Street Fighter in Smash Bros.?

MORE MUSIC. I want Guile's Theme, Zangief's Theme, and Cammy's Theme.

While I certainly agree with you. We're merely scrapping the surface of Street Fighter music. Chun-Li and Blanka's themes are practically musts are far as I'm concerned.

ALSO, if I had it my way, Street Fighter 3: Third Strikes whole OST would be on the Ryu stage. At least Jazzy NYC.

I'd also be happy with even more Mega Man music. There needed to be a bit of branching out past the first 3 Mega Man games. Smash 4 was off to a good start though.

If I had to guess, its because she's a classic pirate, so having a whole moveset based on that would be cool. But she was never playable in anything, and I think a few of her fights focused on having her minions doing the dirty work. But if you've ever seen Risky Boots from Shantae being used(Or Shantae herself in Pirate's Curse) Captian Syrup would basically be that.

Her Wario Land: Shake It! design is cool though.

As for the least wanted character, I guess Kamek. I don't know why anyone wants a generic mook who's only claim to standing out is being really annoying in the Yoshi games, but he still looks like every Magikoopa. At least Bandanna Dee has some kind of visual difference and a unique weapon to standout, not that he's one of my favorites or anything. But I GET why people like him.

I've been lurking since the announcement, kind of unsure if I should actually say anything. I guess with everything going on, it'd be weird of me to not at least contribute a tiny bit for the first time in... 18 months and some change. I guess it's going to be a bit of a slow burn to E3, since we didn't exactly get any kind of glimpse at gameplay. But it's always nice to see another Smash game coming around. Honestly, I wish we'd gotten at least that. Otherwise, I'd have rather just waited to see the announcement until E3. But what can you do.

You know if they pushed for a T-rating, then they do not have to censor Pyra. I mean Pyra's design is in XC2 and look, the game is a T rating still. I actually think Pyra and Mythra might not need censorships, unless Nintendo pushes for an E10+ instead of a T. I hope Nintendo chooses a T, because not only are Pyra and Mythra's designs more likely to stay, but you could do "more interesting stuff" in subspace. Am I the only one who likes Pyra's design?

I agree with the Pauline statement. I don't feel too strongly one way or the other, I do think that she doesn't much appeal as a fighter though. But I'm sure she has her fans too.

While I love any opportunity to talk about my girl Issy, one that hasn't been mentioned recently is KK Slider. He could have a sound-based moveset that incorporates the different musical instruments, DJ stuff, throwing records frisbee-style, and using the music box scallops. I haven't thought about it hard enough to come up with a well flowing moveset yet but the material's all there.

But... this doesnt reflect at all on Animal Crossing. Or even the character himself...

Kirby's Dreamland is a timeless classic. Would have spent hours playing it because although short, is instantly replayable.

I'm usually okay with short games myself. Especially if they're older.

But 20 minutes is just... way too short.

Yeah, I played about 3 hours and then returned it. No need to own it when I have the two stellar Kirby 3DS games in my collection.

Nightmare in Dreamland is obviously the best game in the series.
