Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

It isn't my info to give out. The people I've spoken with have done so knowing I wouldn't leak information, but I can tell you those I've spoken to have all unequivocally said that this "leak" isn't legit.

As far as we know that leak never surfaced to the public.

For all we know it could be THIS and it's just now reaching public eyes.

It's doubtful, but a thought.

I have a feeling Xenoblade may be the first series to have DLC characters if Elma isn’t base, and if that’s the case she can be revealed alongside Rex & Pyra

His atleast one missing could just be a dlc and the vga could reveal that character as the

“*name* is one the way” character of smash bros ultimate

Lol quit it with the assumptions.

I never stated I was 100% sure a Pokémon wouldn't make the cut and actively supported Incineroar.

I was just pointing something out that I found interesting based on how the speculation period of this game has gone in relation to the reveals we've been having. Sakurai is really breaking the mold here.

The Chadnondorf leak?

It's been posted here a couple times already. I'm not on my phone anymore, but just check my first post today, it's on there. Check the date of that post, it says September like 19 or something. It's the one that says Tabuu and etc... return as bosses, confirms there are no new pokemon, and 100% confirms the 7 characters from the Grinch leak, well over a month before these images circulated. Meaning someone else saw that same leak (probably the video) a month before any of us did in order to make that 4chan post.

The only character I'm completely sure is real is Ken... and that is quite obvious even for the most pessimistic (the Box Theorists).

Honestly, if he pussyfoots about the same way every other person trying to debunk the leak has done, then I have no reason to believe he's legit. Stop giving us speculation and your opinions on why you think it's fake if you have "insider info" give us something juicy that totally debunks it with full confidence if you really have access to that sort of info. Otherwise, I ahve no reason to believe a single word you say.

A few creditable sources is claiming it’s fake

But there’s really no evidence against it so far

I’m still positive it won’t be till the next reveal for the moment of truth for the leak.

I understand not getting into specifics--if they have knowledge, but can't divulge it. But if they do, they should stop being coy and shut up about it--a simple "I don't believe this" suffices (even if it's not believed). It's the same behavior I hate about "hinty" leakers. If you think it's important for people to know, say it--if not, don't. Simple.

Why are people acting like this completely discredits Vergeben? He still predicted Simon, Ridley, Isabelle (to the point where he said she might not even be an echo), Ken, Snake, and a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting. Even if Incineroar didn't make it in, 99% of his predictions were still true. It's pretty obvious he has inside info.

This is another reason why I doubt the leak, but I know it probably won't effect many people's opinions on the matter.

Let's be honest, most of us have already made up our minds by now. Either you think the leak is real because there's so many small details about the image and original poster that make it seem unlikely to be fake, or you think the leak is fake because a lot of reliable sources are making contradicting comments and hints like these.

To be clear, Vergeben never said Ridley, that was from that anonymous 4chan post.

I've seen the 4chan post, what I meant to ask for was a source for the Snapchat video to have existed since a month ago.

edit: I understand your reasoning but it assumes that the video was used as reference to make the 4chan post when it could have been the other way around.

I'm in the same situation...
People see it as an ESRB 2.0 situation.
I see it as a Sassy Geno 2.0 situation.

I'm still meh, but the number of Insiders being so much against it, is what makes me go doubt.

In the end, whatever happens, it's going to be madness.

SourceGaming brought up a good point that two third-parties from different companies have not been revealed in the same presentation as to not have one company steal thunder from the other.

I think Waluigi will be a make or break case: if he proves that assists can become playable DLC with enough demand, requests for some of the other ATs will shoot right up.

Also hoping that support for Skull Kid doesn't wither and die: IDGAF if people were bandwaggoning (the more the merrier) so long as they don't suddenly abandon ship.
