How did I not notice that.
I have a theory about this leak, actually. It's pretty clear that these materials are already finalized and printed. What if the snap was taken in September, the screenshot was taken then as well, but the screenshot was only released just recently? It would make sense with what Spawn Wave thinks (he says there's one more character, and he thinks this is fake, but he clearly isn't sure) and it would fit with what the group of ResetEra edgelords have said as well.
Where was the screenshot originally posted, anyway?
I can't source this because i forgot the source, but i remember op of mach rider leak posting it on the reddit and saying yeah this was my fake leak.
Regardless, this market man said **** work leak coming out after someone claims that a real leak happened and someone outside of nintendo is panicking fits the narrative really well.
I'm trying very hard to be neutral on this, but everything about the leak just slots into place perfectly, outside of the whole losta characters deal. I really need more than "photoshop exists" or "my super duper secret sauce told me a different character was in". The world of "professional leakers" is pretty squeaky clean and careful, so the fact that this guy basically became a wild card doing dangerous **** (even if faked) makes me think the 2 sides disagreeing is inevtiable.
I dunno, it could be fake, it reeks of too good to be true, but honestly, this feels more credible than even the esrb leak atm (until video footage was shown). To disprove this in my eyes for good, they need to target the wider picture and story, than just listing where isaac is located on the mural or whatever. This leak is many things, but it's not 1 dimensional.
