I believe that was a Melee thing that they just never fixed.

The Melee version of the DK Rap is the full song, and it's almost 4 minutes long. The song is uncut in Brawl as well.

Pokemon is weird, I love it.

I love how Pokemon has progressively gone more in the WTF category over the past couple decades.

Gen 1: Catch powerful creatures and battle other trainers to become the very best (that's pretty much the story)

Gen 7: Save the world from other-dimensional creatures while traveling across multiple islands and battling through island-style trials collecting stones that let you gain powerful attacks and challenging Island Guardians that look like totems.

Seriously though WTF is going on with Pokemon stories?
