It's kinda sad that Chrom is the only FE character since Marth who didn't get in off of relevance. I wouldn't mind Edelgard if she was unique and well written but I'd much prefer a more non-relevance popular pick like Hector.

I really feel Sakurai will at least try his best to get Geno, since he acknowledged him being very popular and receiving a lot of requests.

Of course Square may say no, but they could also say yes; definitely no reason not to say yes if Sakurai agrees to adding another character with him.

The Rabbids are personally one of my most wanted realistic characters to be in the game. I'd main them in a heartbeat if none of my other most wanted got in, them being Delphox, Tails, Braixen, or Goku. Granted, amongst those. Tails and Rabbids are the only realistic ones.

That's a fair point and considering his popularity this should be more then a good enough reason for Square Enix to let Sakurai use him.

I'd main a Rabbid. Moveset would probably be a lot of fun, especially if they're Kingdom Battle based.

As for Geno...not gonna lie, I'm biased. I have no attachment to him at all, and I personally don't see what makes him stand out. To each their own, though! If he makes it, I'll be happy for those who wanted him.

Being that Geno was up there with andshould be more then a good enough reason for Square Enix to lend Geno to Sakurai. Pretty popular if you ask me.

Announce Super Mario RPG 2 and Geno as a playable character in the saaaaaaame trailer.

The hardcore base this game is directed towards wants Geno dearly, so he has a much bigger shot for base than DLC. Geno in base and another Squenix rep as DLC makes the most sense to me.

It's also factually respectful for him to be base as he'd be with his filled out trinity in King K. Rool and Ridley.

Excuse me if this is a stretch, but if he's not in base but they add him as a Mario-series DLC character, wouldn't he make money for that alone...?

I can imagine younger Smash fans who are also fans of Mario thinking Geno looks cool, and wanting to buy him.

Plus they could release bundles like in Smash 4 anyway. I do hope he's in base, though, for the epic animated trailer.

My only big hopes for DLC are a Kirby rep (Marx, Dee, hell even Magolor would be fine) a Zelda rep that isn't Tingle, and Shadow/Tails.

But honestly I'm okay with any newcomer at this point.
