Okay, definitely not alone.

I definitely agree with that, I'd also say it had much better stages and modes.

In fact, to go even farther, I'd say the 3DS version would've been superior to the Wii U if it had the same processing power and control scheme.

If you're referring to Masterpieces, then yes. They were in Brawl and Wii U, so I don't see any reason to cut them now.

Tbf, the only random thing in the stage are the Shy Guys. Randall, the sexiest cloud since Cloud, follows a set track and circles the stage roughly every twenty seconds (somebody correct me on that, it's been a while since I experienced the glorious substance of Melee).

This is actually where I'm a bit disappointed, to a slight degree (love the game, don't get me wrong). Before the game was announced, I was hoping it would be a port so that no characters would be cut. Glad I was wrong on that, because Ultimate's much better by having everyone here. The secondary reason was so that Wii U's and 3DS stages would probably come together, as I had only played on Wii U. We got most of them, which is great, though I'll really be missing out on Pac-Maze and Rainbow Road. Still, tiny quibble for having so many returning stages.

Yea, I'm still a little miffed that Pac-Maze isn't in Ultimate too. That means Pac-Land is now the only stage representing Pac-Man for some reason; you'd think they would've realized that no one likes Pac-Land and chosen Pac-Maze instead.

Okay, definitely not alone.

Definetly. Not the best Classic mode (I'd still give that to Melee's) but WiiU's was Classic mode in name only. It was more "8 player Smash gauntlet"

Dracula's Castle beats all for me. I love how they implemented so many classic Castlevania enemies into the stage. It's amazing.

If I'm being honest none of the new stages look THAT good to me...out of the 4 new ones I guess....Great Plateu Tower. But even then it looks really cramped and small as well as the annoying Tower in the middle. Moray Towers to me looks like a cluster to play on (not to mention I despise that map in Splatoon/2). New Donk City Hall looks okay. Looks very boring (which captures the source material very well) just another traveling stage. I have no connection to Castlevania so Dracula's Castle doesn't do anything for me personally.

Neo Ark Cradle's mods are tyrannical overlords, the entire board will go dead silent for days on end because nobody is allowed to wishlist or go even slightly off topic. It's almost depressing how inactive that place is, especially compared to here.

Blizzeta's 2nd phase from Twilight Princess is still my most desired Zelda track. And please inject the Rundas theme directly into my veins.
