Most Likey: Sophitia, Nightmare, or Mitsurugi
Most Wanted: Raphael or Nightmare. Or Cassandra i always liked her better than her big sister.

Yoshimitsu would also still be fine as well since he'd present both Tekken and Soulcalibur.

People keep saying this, but that's not how it'd work.

Yoshimitsu can only either be representing Tekken or representing Soul Calibur, not both.
He'd be listed for one of the series and be primarily influenced by that series' Yoshimitsu.

While there could be references to the other series' Yoshimitsu in terms of costumes, that's all it would be; reference.

A TALE OF SOULS AND SWORDS ETERNALLY RETOLD!

Evil living sword steals souls wants to take over the world, "good" sword wants to kill it and turn the world into crystal, Bunch of people from the 1600s fight over them both. Also a Lizard.

Despite being set in the 1600s, barely anybody wears period appropriate clothing (not that the fans complain).

This thread is hyping me up for the new SC game than anything else. Can't wait to see it in action! Hope that this can successfully revive the franchise. I'm not expecting Amy to come back now, but I really do want to see her again and get a bit more information on her. She kicked *** in SCIV.

It is one of my favorites as well (Gotta love Jade) and I was waiting for someone to call me out on that lol.

It sucks too because Tales of the Abyss probably has it worst out of all the modern Tales of games. All of them are getting ports (Xilia, Beseria) or definitive editions (Symphonia, Vesperia) and all Tales of the Abyss has is a port for the 3DS. Not the PC or a relevant console, the 3DS. It also came out 7 years ago.

After Vesperia we better get a Tales of the Abyss HD, hopefully with added features (maybe a new dungeon, costumes, boss fights, etc.). I'd even take a straight remaster at this point. Just not PS2 or 3DS please.

Looked up Soulcalibur VI. It's gonna be a reboot in that case I'll definitely have to get my hands on it without having to get an idea of how the story went with the very first game.

That and I'm a sucker for fighting games and like to try out or watch new franchises.

Erdrick or Eight from Dragon Quest. If they're lucky to appear in the game at all, really. Kind of hard to say with how the IP holders of the DQ content in general is. It's nuts.

Geno. I could actually see him being an assist trophy though, as sad as it would be. I'd legitimately pour one out for the Geno fans if that happened.

I could see easily Shantae getting the assist trophy treatment. Similarly, Klonoa or Agumon are both important characters, but lack wide relevancy or popularity. Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton, and Amaterasu could be reduced down to Assist Trophies. Jack Frost could make for a good assist trophy representing Atlus. Slime or Chocobo/Moogle could represent Square Enix in a similar way, though Sephiroth casting Meteor and doing stupidly OP **** is the dream. If not playable, Steve could be an assist trophy, though I feel like the Creeper is more likely. Series assist trophies I could see happening would be Riku or Xigbar (KH), Yosuke, Futaba, or Rise (Persona), Collete (Tales of Symphonia), Edgeworth (Phoenix Wright), Vergil or Trish (DMC), Gruntilda (Banjo & Kazooie), and the list goes on.

Huh, I never thought navigation Persona users as an assist, that might be interesting since Yosuke just rolls around on the stage in a trashcan

They'd act similar to Victini, giving the players random buffs or healing.

Yosuke would just be Yosuke. I imagine he'd be like Ghirahim running around and slashing people, except he'd also have janky wind hitboxes.

Imagine a targeted AI Gust Bellows. That'd be Yosuke.

This is kinda random, but another character I that would hype me about as much as Crono would be Strider Hiryu. I've loved the Strider games since I was little and played the hell out of pretty much every one. He also has massive moveset potential and a pretty unique weapon as far as swords go.
