You people are wild, we get hundreds and hundreds of bad text leaks each and every day, eventually one of them was gonna call the character of the day. Why people keep giving these baseless "leaks" attention is beyond me, I could make a /v/ thread saying that the next blog character is gonna be uhhh, Lucas, day after day and on the day I'm right I swear I'll see it posted in this thread with people falling for it.

Yeah...normally I'd instantly go "that's bull****" but the drought is toying with me...at this point we're so goddamn desperate for anything to latch on to and I don't blame us

Too lazy to check if Wii Fit or even the Wii has an anniversary or not.

Either way it is entirely possible to guess a blog post. The odds are against you sonewhat, but not unrealistic.

Believe it or not, People actually believed this leak, just because it featured Ridley, Who was a highly requested character at that time.
Looking back on it now, it looks painfully fake. But of course, because it featured Ridley, people took it as gospel....
And let's just say they were in for a rude awakening

I have no problem with suggesting to keep expectations low, but on the other hand, I don't see a need to force the issue. If people wanna hype or speculate on something, I don't see the harm in that. Honestly, this has been an issue ever since the box showed up. "If you display any amount of optimism whatsoever, your clearly in denial and need to expect nothing now." That's the mentality that's been pushed by some, and it's understandable that some are a little frustrated by it. This thread is for discussion and speculation, I don't see why we feel the need to discourage discussion and speculation.

I'm not talking about the leak. I'm speculating if only zeraora gets in.

I read the leak just fine and saw it said incineroar as well. My apologies for not setting my comment off apart from leak analysis.

Wii Fit was put out 10 years ago at least shortly after the first Japan release, so it checks out.

Don't think it factors into much of anything though.

Just because Sakurai Posts an Image that looks like Golden Sun, or the color of chairs match Skull Kid, Doesn't mean it's evidence...
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just telling you guys to heed with caution...

Are you still on about this? Of course people are going to be more likely to believe a leak that features a character considered likely. Imagine if politics had "leaks" like smash. Show me a leak that says a certain senator or governor will be the next US president and one that says Kim Kardashian will be. Guess which one I'll be more likely to believe regardless of which one is actually real. That's just how things work.
