Which can ONLY mean one thing, it'll be announced tomorrow.

I imagine he would place 3 types of blocks around the arena. A dirt block, which can be destroyed with a weak attack. A stone brick block, which can be destroyed with a medium attack, and an obsidian block, which can be destroyed with a strong attack

I guess he would also kinda be going against you, sorta like Nintendog, so maybe he would also bust out a Diamond Sword or Bow and Arrow to help you.

Mine would be Poochy, because he’s been prominent in the Yoshi series from the beginning and is an all around good boy

The fact is that we are only two months away from actually having the game in our hands. In terms of wait time, this is the shortest we have ever had to wait for a Smash Bros. game (with the exception of Smash 64 to Melee). There is also the fact that DLC means that the base roster is not the final result for this game. It took nine months after Smash 3DS's Japanese release for the first DLC newcomer to happen, and I believe the first DLC character was released in March (so six months after Smash 3DS's Japanese release). That means for additional newcomers we will probably have them announced at E3 2019 at the latest. Compare that to what people after Melee, Brawl, and even 64 had to wait for additional characters, years.

A two month wait time is nothing compared to gaps of time that had to be endured in the time (during pre-Brawl after the unveils, there were really long dead periods with absolutely no information unveils for months on end). Even if there are only two characters left, keep in mind DLC is coming, and that we will learn of the first DLC fighter in June at the latest (though there is a good chance we will learn of the first DLC fighter whenever the final pre-release direct drops though).

We will be in December before we know it.

It really depends on your definition. As someone who lives outside of the Smash bubble, K. Rool and Ridley and even Simon were people who my friends and I wanted but never ever expected.

Big difference. They made sense but that doesn't mean they were predictable if you didn't know or believe the leaks.

This. I always feel like there are A lot of people who only paint some of the Nintendo picture or the picture of Nintendo that they want.

Like the fact that no one was putting her on lists for the longest is just....weird.

She's definitely not some unexpected character. She and Inkling are truly the definiton of ''Future of Nintendo All Stars." together.
