See, I only care about Xenoblade Chronicles in regards to its characters, setting, and OST.

The actual gameplay, is singleplayer MMO-style combat and I DESPISE THAT on top of the ridiculous amount menial sidequests and collectathons, it's a game I don't think I'm ever inclined to replay.

So when Xenoblade chronicles X and 2 came out and they had neither the story nor characters I cared about, (With X having an OST I'd like to never hear again), I think if this is the path XC's going in, I'll happily drop the franchise and be content to just listen to the music.

There's no way that Dante leak is real. After all the contraversy DmC's "Daniel" I refuse to call him Dante caused, I highly doubt he'd be in Smash in any sort of way.

also, Donte is in PS All Stars, i can see regular Dante from the mainline DMC games, but having DmC Donte alongside him?... that sounds like a HUGE stretch to me

I don't believe any leaks that claim the next blog update. They just use a built in timer to get more attention. I also don't believe any leak with a Pokefloats stage. I highly doubt Sakurai realized how popular it was until now. It really doesn't make sense to make a second one anyway when there are much more interesting locations for a stage. Pokefloats was only ever made because of Melee's limited developement time.

Pfft...That 'Dante' leak you're talking about is fake. Even if he did get the blog right, it could also just be a lucky guess, seeing as the Blog has already covered half of the characters. Do not believe in him, and forget that site.

While I like Poke Floats, it does kinda feel like a meme stage, so I'm not surprised it didn't get super high priority when choosing stages to remaster. I could see it being DLC at some point, though.

The other two line up with our current information (especially the first one), but I doubt we're getting that many characters unless we get a Brawl-level trailer at the end. Isn't that the dream though?

When you get down to it, Pokefloats is just a bunch of Pokemon Stadium models plastered all over a skybox.

It's definitely one of the clunkier stages, as well as one of the more "cheap" looking ones too.

It's not too surprising they haven't brought it back.

These read as fake to me; especially when they start claiming certain characters aren't in, because leakers tend to only know info about some characters that are in.

Plus, the previous Dante leak was likely fake as well for that reason, and we already had a youtuber (NGameTheCube) predict how Isabelle would be revealed on his twitter when he didn't actually have any sources (correct me if I'm wrong about this part, as I don't actually remember the dates ), and both likely took from Vergeben or were simply just predicting.

General Smash fanbase tends to think "popular" and "promotional" as mutually exclusive but it's kinda ridiculous to say Isabelle and/or Simon wasn't wanted by a ton of fans regardless of their reason of inclusion.

If it's fanservice, they did a great job, when you ignore the complaints coming from certain fans.

I wasn't doubting these characters' amount of requests; honestly, thinking that just because the people you see around the online community aren't very vocal about those characters just leads to potential surprises because you're ignoring the thousands of Smash fans (woulda said millions but the ballot only had around 1.8 million votes, I think) who very likely voted in the ballot and yet don't care too much about being very vocal in online parts of the community.

That 2015 fan-poll data, for example, almost certainly won't be a good note of who we're getting next, as we've already gotten characters that weren't on it.

Using the "Next blog is going to be -thing-" feels like such a cop out now since we're left with less and less characters. The chances of getting it right by pure chance increases, and messing up means that your already fake leak looks even faker.

I feel like if Pokefloats ever does make a come back as DLC, it's going to either be as a completely different stage, or have a drastic overhaul. They can't just place Pokemon models in the sky and call it a day anymore (unless they want to that's fine by me lol).

While I do agree that it's still an ongoing debate, I do think the box theory is dumb in my opinion. Verge knows this - if it was real he would of said it by now. But it's your opinion. I just don't like the theory.

I don't really care about your own opinion on it as I was simply stating that many people are still conflicted over the leak.
Also, Verge does NOT know that and has gone on to state he doesn't know if it's real or not.

May I ask why you put Incineroar so low?

It's a mix of the fact that I feel the top 4 are more likely, and every time the speculation scene gets the Pokemon wrong. In Brawl I heard everyone was banking on Blaziken or Deoxys, and In 4 everyone was expecting Mewtwo and Zoruark. Even half a year ago we were expecting Decidueye. For all we know Incineroar could be Vergeben's Chrom. He's likely, but not a fact like everyone makes him out to be. In fact, if not for leaks I'd say Lycanroc's likelier

The Music Theory suggests that when a Music track from a franchise is uploaded to site before any newcomer from it was announced, it means no newcomer for that franchise, as the reveals of K.rool and Isabelle were followed by DK and Animal Crossing Tracks Respectively... Incineroar is a highly rumored character by Verge and last week, a Pokemon track was uploaded to the website...

Incineroar is not just a fire-type brawler, either. That's grossly undermining what makes him different. He'd be a grappler. That IS different from say, Mario, otherwise known as the most basic moveset in the entirety of Smash. Granted, I think the thing with Incineroar is that people are frustrated that they didn't pick a Pokemon they would rather have. That's fine and dandy. But just because they may or may not have picked Lycanroc over Incineroar doesn't mean that Incineroar is by default a bad choice.

Not to mention the incredible personality he would have if represented properly.

It's true Blaziken and Deoxys had a fair amount of support for Brawl, but Lucario was always the favorite in the community, it wasn't a surprise that he made it in the end. Pokémon Trainer is another story, but that was practically impossible to guess.

AC doesn't have two songs on the website.

What's casting doubt on the music theory is that Pokemon got a song before a potential newcomer, and Incineroar is being heavily rumored.
