I Iike Grimer AND Trubbish... I just like the living object pokemon in general! Did you know the reason there’s so many is because they’re all based on a Japanese Folklore story of inanimate objects coming to life after 100 years?

Except gen 1, but only because I wasn't around for Pokemania so the intense Nostalgia for something I wasn't born for annoys me. I can still respect what Kanto did by starting the series.

Like I actually grew up with Gen 1 (Pokemon Blue literally was the second game I owned. GBA Mario kart being the first). I bought SoulSilver because, remake of the second gen seemed nice 'cause I never had the original GSC. But ended up playing through the whole game with just the Starter and a Scizor because I realized there's barely any Gen 2 pokemon I really like. One I like is Slugma/Magcargo, but I need to reach kanto to get that one.

Seriously though, we have no playable bird Pokémon! If you could pick one, who would you go for? My main pick would be Staraptor (Talonflame really close).

Yeah, it looks completely different from the cast of Pokémon and I just think it'd be dope to see something that actually stands out from the offerings we got.

Especially if they could play up the whole "inter-dimensional" aspect of it being an Ultra Beast.
Also, seeing how another character with a "draining" move would be interesting to see, especially since Buzzwole would be more offensive than Robin's spacing.

A lot of people were comparing the new monster designs to their hazy nostalgic memory. It doesn't help that a lot of the new pokemon were inspired by older designs but not enough to scratch that nostalga itch.

I really want Garchomp but I know that won’t ever happen. Still, one of my favorite mons. I also really like Dewott for some odd reason but he would just be another water-starter so, personally, I would love to see Krookadile or Volcarona would also be pretty fun.
