KOF 14's entire roster was leaked in China before the game was properly announced, with pictures too.

Yeah, most of these branches are small, except for the NoE HQ in Germany. Since this looks to be a development build, it's probably from NoE's localization team since they would need a developer build to alter text and they probably do some playtesting as well. The more playtesters in general, the better so it's safe to assume that they conduct gameplay tests in the American and European branches alongside localization since they could report bugs the Japanese team may overlook.

So yeah, Germany is the likeliest place this leak comes from. Someone might be getting fired, that's for sure.

NoE definitely has builds, since they have to make the European builds and coordinate EFIGS voice actors.

I stayed for the ESRB leak when it happened, so I'll probably stay for this.
Regardless, if we do get something in the next 24 hours, it'll be hard to avoid it for two and a half months anyway.

Not sure if people are joking or are actually serious about Mickey, Donald, and Goofy being added if Sora gets in, but have we forgotten that Sakurai only adds videogame characters and not cartoon or movie characters? Mickey, Donald, and Goofy will never be in the game.

Thing is, Street Fighter will have 36 songs this time.
My fear is that it will simply be the CPS1, CPS2, and remixed themes of the 12 characters in the Champion Edition roster. At least we'll get Guile's theme though, and Dictator and Claw's themes are pretty dope.

I mean, didn't Sakurai say in a column he let people pick and choose what pieces of music they wanted to remix/arrange? While the chances of there just being a whole lot of themes as you described, I have good faith that someone would've picked at least a 3S or 4 song to remix.

All other factors aside, Mickey's rights are so hellish they have their own circle of hell, complete with demonic guardsmen and lakes of sulfur.

I know all of this pretty directly. Disney makes Square look like Yacht Club.

if its sora im game but dont half *** it, have donald and goody join in for the final smash. Have King Mickey as an AT, have you visit the 100 acre wood in the spirtis mode. And ESPECIALLY add the ducktales moon theme

As much as I would love this to happen, it likely wouldn't. Sora would likely use his solo moves, which he still has a **** ton of, including Magic, Drives, Limits, Special Attacks (Strike Raid, Blitz, Ars Arcanum, etc.), Flow-Motion, and if we want to use KH3 Sora, Command Styles, Keyblade Transformations, and Shotlocks.

Our stage would be something KH-Original, like Destiny Islands, Twilight Town, The World That Never Was, the Keyblade Graveyard, or, in my opinion most likely, the Dive to the Heart.

Also we'd still get some bomb-ass music. Here's some of the best:

If we assume that this is a debug build of the game, and is therefore in development, it's possible that they haven't completely finished work on him, and haven't finished his render either.

Yeah, he did. And the sound team particularly worked on several Mega Man and Castlevania songs.

One of the composers in particular did a lot of Fire Emblem arrangements, so we're definitely seeing a lot of music from that. I'm curious about who it is, but it's probably one of Intelligent Systems's sound team members.

Exactly. Alt outfits referencing them and maybe a trophy with TOP SECRET would be the closest we'd get, and honestly I don't even think the trophy of Mickey is likely at all, since everyone on earth knows who that is

In regards to the music again, Sakurai's only kind of direction in the music for this game was to make it fit the pace of the game, so most new arrangements will be fast paced and upbeat (and so far, have been quite upbeat), but once again, it's the composers themselves that choose which pieces they get to arrange and in case a song doesn't get worked on by anyone, the original version is put in the game instead.

Although, as with previous Smash games, there likely will be songs available in both original and rearranged versions.

You're seriously underestimating him dude. He was top 5 finalist in the first Dengeki Smash poll (a very large Japanese fan poll) and wasn't allowed in the second one because he likely would've won again. Dude was also in the top 5 of another large Japanese fan poll of characters expected to be in Smash Bros. Kingdom Hearts is massive, and definitely has more overall presence than Frogger, Ninja Gaiden, and I'd even say Layton (mind you, overall presence means worldwide presence, so while Layton may have more Japanese presence, Kingdom Hearts has more worldwide presence).

I just forgot about Sora. tehponycorn chill.

He's still on my radar in terms of DLC.

Good thing Ryu can cancel specials into Final Smashes now. Combine that with the Final Smash meter, and Ken is actually playable.

Let's not forget Inkling. Yeah they were obvious picks, but their reveal was still a delightful surprise because we didn't even know if there was going to be a new Smash at the time.
