The theory is that series will only get music once, any series that has music already on the blog won't get a newcomer because newcomers always come with new music.

Can I just say that Totaka brought NINTENDO 64 VIBES through??? I cannot think of some bombin' N64 games' OST. Like this reminds me of Mario Party 3 or Wave Race 64, WHICH WAS A GAME HE WAS A COMPOSER OF.

This actually ain't bad at all. God bless Totaka. Ultimate's starting to beat out Brawl's OST, that's for damn sure.

Nope because we'd know the base roster anyway.

It's obviously not gunna matter for dlc.

I haven't seen anyone post it yet so....series that still are possible for a full unique newcomer

It was not random. I explicitly remember staying up until whenever the announcement was supposed to happen. We were told about it.
If you want a random new character announcement, youre going back to Dojo days.

Shulk has a good shot, with Ness and Rosalina as POSSIBILITIES if you believe certain things.

Archie Sonic and Paper Mario with the Pire Hearts definitely can, I'd say.

The Belmonts are also ridiculously OP and broken based on the stuff the characters in Castlevania can do.

Music theory still lives on. It was animal crossing just like I had predicted. This is further proof that even if the newcomer doesn't come with a new song in their trailer, that a song for their series will come alongside them anyways. I don't think its a coincidence that they waited this long to put animal crossing music on the website until after Isabelle was revealed.

Again, that leaves these franchises.
(Mario Kart)

Considering that is still around, that's probably not a coincidence and that we're getting a Gen 7 Pokemon.
The Music still bodes well for the franchise. Since this theory only implies to newcomers, it could very well hint towards semi-clone Shadow, or newcomer Tails. Still could be a coincidence though.

Other possible candidates leave . Not as likely for these three, but I would keep a watch out to see if their songs ever show up.

Every other franchise is not worth considering.

A track is released for the same series of every newcomer announcement. After the character announcement. 1 per series. What series are left will be the newcomer prospects. Pokemon does not have a teack. Echos do not count.

Also, Giygas isn't a god. He's not even close. He's an alien in the first game, and still an alien that's gotten a little too powerful. He's not really ever called a god and meant in such a way. "Universal Cosmic Destroyer"? "Almighty Idiot"? None of these mention a god in the title. You beat Giygas by prayer, which takes everyone, even outside of the 4th wall, to kill. Nobody killed him with raw strength at this strongest, and nobody killed him with raw strength as his weakest. The only entity in the series who can do something on the level as him is the Dark Dragon in Mother 3.

When has this ever been confirmed that the second Mario icon is for Mario Kart? I have seen no evidence. It'd make perfect sense for spin-offs, considering how astronomically huge of a selection you can get just off the base Mario games like Mario 64, Galaxy, Odyssey, etc.

Shame, Ice Climbers and Game and Watch have rich lore and characters.

I know you're possibly being sarcastic, but one could make a case for the wolf in Egg (and maybe sneaking in Stanley the Bugman as a loophole).

Ice Climber though? I honestly don't think they'd promote the polar bear, since the ICs are the only real option.
