My question is which of Ridley's alts will be replaced by Meta Ridley?
And which of Yoshi's alts will be replaced by crafted Yoshi?

Is it confirmed that each character will have 8 alts? I honestly don't see the reason to cut any alternate colors even if the number of alts per character is different (due to special alts like Meta Ridley, Crafted Yoshi etc).

In regards to Smash Alts, if we don't get Outset Toon Link I will be sad. Mr.L would also be cool.

Basically just make every Project M alt.

First off, it's a "leak," not a leak. There's a difference.

Second, it's standard fare for 4chan text "leaks," and there's no reason to pay attention to it unless we get a Direct announced for that date specifically.

I'm hoping that they just end up as extras - like the Yoshi one - maybe give us a costume #9 or something (so we can also get Fire Mario back).

Honestly, the best case scenario would be if we got loads of costumes for every character. You know how many outfits Link and Zelda have...

I guess with the recent wave of alt costume renders that showed up, I guess I'll list some desires I've had for some characters:

: Wedding and Builder outfits are fine enough, but I'd love to see more outfits from Odyssey show up.
: Link's good with what he has now. Probably would just like more color options for both his classic and BOTW appearance.
: Give her some of her suits from her games, like the Fusion suit.
: Color options for Crafted Yoshi would be nice.
: Bring more colors/sprays from Amazing Mirror/Squeak Squad
: Maybe some of the other Pikachu outfits from OR/AS, like the Rock or Pop stars
: Mister L without a doubt
: Pajamas? Maybe?
: Bring back the green headband from Melee. That is literally all I ask.
: Shadow Queen would be dope but highly unlikely. So....I guess the Wedding Dress from Odyssey?
: Dry Bowser and his Wedding Outfit
: A skin based off of Hilda
: Spiky-ear Pichu or riot
: Have a costume based on Fierce Deity, if it's not a part of his Final Smash
: Armored or Shadow Mewtwo
: Proper Dark Meta Knight or Morpho Knight skin

Fire Mario and Wario Mario are gone. The (reasonable) theory was that they were replaced by the Wedding and Builder outfits, so Mario wouldn't have two White palettes and two yellow palettes.

But then Yoshi gets an identical green one with a fuzz shader applied. =_=

I'm glad a lot of obscure Nintendo franchises were included because I think those deserve a lot of reps. Nintendo's strongest ability is their vast amount of IPs imo

also why is Gothette in a lot of rosters lately? Was it always popular?

So, when do you guys think we could get a new Smash oriented Direct? October or November?

I honestly think both. There's still a lot we haven't seen. More stages, more assist trophies, pokemon, and items. Online. New and returning stadium modes. Event mode and all star mode. Stage builder has to be there somewhere. Possibly the return of smash run, and of course spirits mode which will probably take up quite a lot of time on it's own. Between all that and the rest of the characters, I can't imagine them fitting it all in one direct. I really don't understand people who think there's not much left to show.
