What would your reaction be in the hypothetical scenario where we get an ARMS and a Xenoblade 2 character as DLC, but it's not Spring Man and Rex?

For me personally, I would want Tora/Poppi, Lora/Jin or Addam/Mythra for XC2; Twintelle or Ribbon Girl for ARMS.

I dunno man. I've fallen in love with SFV. It took time, but I'd say it's right there with SFIII and Alpha.

Definitely better than SFIV in retrospect.

The only thing is, I don't think they'd announce a Dragon Quest character, ESPECIALLY a character like Erdrick at a western focused event.

That's why it's going to be a DQ11 character

Like a dragon quest character matches this perfectly, again I don't really believe it (I don't know how they'd even get this info but whatever) but...

• DQXI was released this year and with the small amount of RPGs released would likely fit into Best RPG.
• DQXI had some political controversy surrounding it before release.
• He mentioned that we shouldn't be focused only on Nintendo/Switch, the game was ported over to PC and PS4 this year.
• He mentions "series" instead of "the game", suggesting that a character that wouldn't be from DQXI would get in which is way more heavily requested.
• Sakurai mentioned having to twist some arms, getting a DQ character wouldn't be easy at all.
• Vergeben leaks suggest a SE character for launch or DLC.

K Rool, DK and Diddy all look around in confusion until the ponytail manages to pick up K Rool and launches him away, DK and Diddy continue to look around in confusion before they see a figure standing on K Rool's seat nonchalantly fixing her hair...

"Dixie Kong comes to the rescue!"

If this Game Awards rumor is true and the game in question is Dragon Quest, it lines up with two things:

1. Vergeben's 2nd Square Enix character
2. LeakyPandy's mention about political stuff, quoting: "-Marketing is concerned the game will stay just as a nominee due to possible ressistance from the jury as a political move against the game"

Because Dragon Quest getting press, especially from a TGA nomination and a Smash reveal, will no doubt bring back the controversies surrounding the franchise's music composer Koichi Sugiyama and his notoriously very conservative political opinions.

It will be a ****show if this is true.

He's probably the most well known DQ protag overseas, which is why he gets suggested a lot with the likes of Slime and Erdrick (and to a way lesser extent, Terry. No not that one.)

In Dragon Quest, none of the protagonists have official names outside of Erdrick/Loto or Madason/Abel, so we call them by the number of their game.
