Well dang; I thought I remembered buying Ryu, Lucas, and Dream Land all together :SNope, all DLC characters were sold separately.
They were but you could still buy them in bundles.Nope, all DLC characters were sold separately.
I bought them all at once, but they weren't packaged together. Lucas, Roy, Ryu/Suzaku Castle, and Dream Land were all released on the same day.Well dang; I thought I remembered buying Ryu, Lucas, and Dream Land all together :S
They were optional to buy separately but there was a 3DS Bundle a Wii U Bundle and a Bundle that contained all the DLC for both versionsWell dang; I thought I remembered buying Ryu, Lucas, and Dream Land all together :S

it's fake, it was used in this echo poll held only a little while backSomeone want to help find this shadow render?

Yeah he was surprisingly small in Super MetroidI saw one person say he hunches over like that in Super Metroid, but idk if that's true.
Ridley almost always has a hunch. Even when flying.I saw one person say he hunches over like that in Super Metroid, but idk if that's true.

This bundle only became a thing when all the characters were out though. When Lucas was released, there was no bundle of him+Ryu.They were but you could still buy them in bundles.
Including one where it was just the characters and another one that was just the stages.
It's not Voldemort, obviously. Here's a clue: he isn't related to video games. Not sure if I've asked this before, but I'm really curios who 'He-who-must-not-be-named' is. Of course, I know no one can tell me, since he can't be named. But I still really want to know. lol
Regardless of how little Mother needs characters, I think people are sleeping on Masked Man.Well, they announced Klaptrap, the new assist trophy of DK in the same streaming as King K. Rool, to tease him... maybe they are saving Duster's assist trophy for a Ninten reveal as a non echo character but as a semi echo like isabelle?
I'm sure I had the bundle, then; I remember it being one thing including the Mii costumes, Dream Land, Lucas, and Ryu.They were optional to buy separately but there was a 3DS Bundle a Wii U Bundle and a Bundle that contained the DLC for both versions
How on earth did Funky get over Dixie Kong?it's fake, it was used in this echo poll held only a little while back

That's different because a an original IP is free of the constraint of "this character has to exist". There are so many characters in video games, there has to be limits placed on them, and there are expections, especially to the wider auidence ofDon't most fighting games have characters as DLC that the developers just made up?
I mean, if Mortal Kombat or Killer Instinct can just make up a character for DLC and show them off, why does SMASH specifically have to go for DLC that's not big corporate names?
People would prefer Dixie as an unique character over an echo so she didn't place very high for that reason, I imagine. How on earth did Funky get over Dixie Kong?
I mean, I'm not mad... I'd prefer Funky...
Skyward Sword, definitely. It's the one Impa design and overall role that got me supporting Impa in the first place. Frankly, didn't feel that much for Impa in Ocarina of Time beforehand. Skyward Sword's Impa is also easily the most important overall, and has shown the most combat skills and unique abilities, as well as overall being the strongest one (being Goddess Hylia's handpicken warrior and all). It's also the only 3D Zelda game that hasn't got a character in yet. Soooo... all the more reasons to have her.If Impa got in, would you like her to have her Ocarina of Time Design or Her Skyward Sword one?
If Dark Samus does not have her laugh as a victory animation I will be very upset. I don't know why it wasn't a taunt. Here is something fun.
We have all the victory screens for Inkling and Ridley.
Try to think of victory screens for other newcomers.
Keep in mind that Daisy, Dark Samus, Chrom, K. Rool and Richter all have one splash screen shown already so remember to keep that one.
This says a lot of things but none of them concern my point which is that Alph is not properly represented, because the animations and FS Olimar has do not fit him, and he could be by simply turning him into an Echo, something characters with just as many differences in their source material have become such as Dark Pit, Lucina and Richter. And because the hitbox would be different, they'd potentially need to adjust the move's properties to make sure it flows well since Olimar's ship can deal multiple hits to characters depending on where it hits (basically has a tendency to somewhat drag opponents upwards for a bit).
It's a game with a huge load of content, all of it is planned and every single decision is deliberately taken in consideration for development costs, time and resources.
Balancing characters revolves around making minute decisions, slight adjustments and ensuring there's no underpowered or overpowered move. Even a change like a move dealing 1% more or less than before can make a difference.
In order to follow as closely with the project plan, there's a large amount of planning to ensure they have enough staff working on it. Things can complicate, there are bugs that might take longer to fix, there are development issues that can happen.
There are changes that occur mid-development and that need to be accounted for.
There might be changes in the budget, delays, staff changes mid-development, and many other factors that can't be accounted for during the planning phase.
It's a wild ride. As the director, Sakurai has to manage a large staff, work with different departments in the development, from programmers, designers, animators, sound directors, art directors, music composers, debuggers, legal departments, deal with the demands of the employer, work around potential issues.
It's a lot more complex. They can't simply snap their fingers and make **** happen. Sometimes compromises need to be made in order to have content.
Some characters don't make it into the game. It's easy to say "they should have done this or that" but tell that to the entire development staff behind the behemoth of a game Smash Bros. is, especially Ultimate, but 3DS/Wii U and Brawl were no slouches in that department either.
Is this even difficult to understand? Do you even realize all the work that is put in developing every single feature, every single detail in the game? I don't think you're quite getting it.
You know who else isn't completely well represented precisely because of development quirks? Ganondorf. Enough said. This says a lot of things but none of them concern my point which is that Alph is not properly represented, because the animations and FS Olimar has do not fit him, and he could be by simply turning him into an Echo, something characters with just as many differences in their source material have become such as Dark Pit, Lucina and Richter.
I'm not talking about the game's development and I don't get why you're bringing it up.
He looks weird with both sleeves. On the topic of Alternate Costumes that need to happen, one stands above the rest.

Great Lord Chrom.
Is it? Nevermind then.Uh...isn't Corrin also an avatar character that you get to choose the gender for? Female Corrin's the default in Warriors as well.

To be fair, whatever version of Fates you described sounds way more interesting than the actual game.Is it? Nevermind then.
We need all the promoted versions from FEOn the topic of Alternate Costumes that need to happen, one stands above the rest.

Great Lord Chrom.
He realized there was a time and place for showing off his brand. He looks weird with both sleeves.
Ganondorf is well represented enough, does nothing out-of-character and doesn't have soulless eyes so he's good. You know who else isn't completely well represented precisely because of development quirks? Ganondorf. Enough said.
Only if we can have Risen King Chrom too. :pOn the topic of Alternate Costumes that need to happen, one stands above the rest.

Damn people are still pushing this sort of narrative against Ridley/K. Rool, even after Sakurai acknowledged the demand for the former was so great it got him to change his mind on Ridley's Smash viability, and acknowledged the latter was one of the best performing characters on the Smash Ballot (you know, which was marketed as being for DLC and thus was supposed to indicate who people would buy for DLC) and was why he added K. Rool to the roster?the vast majoirty of the characters that most people want atm would never be DLC however. People need to actually, you know, BUY the characters. I'm sorry to say this, but Ridley and K Rool are both examples of characters would not have the sales power to justify ever being DLC, they were saved to Ultimate baseline for a reason, everyone has to have them, even if you don't care for metroid (like a lot of japanese fans where the series is less popular) or have no clue on earth what a kay rool is (like a lot of younger fans).
Which is why I never bought Cloud, Bayonetta or Ryu :DNope, all DLC characters were sold separately.
ChromOnly if we can have Risen King Chrom too.
more seriously though, the more FE content the better, for me
I can't believe you missed out the best stages in the entire game.Which is why I never bought Cloud, Bayonetta or Ryu :D
You know, I'm actually a little upset that the "season pass" discounted bundle happened after all of them were released. Which is totally ass-backwards to think. Stupid games industry. They were but you could still buy them in bundles.
Including an all-characters bundle.
Yeah, besides being a clone of a completely unrelated character ever since his debut in Melee and people still dislike his representation in the game.Ganondorf is well represented enough, does nothing out-of-character and doesn't have soulless eyes so he's good.
One victory pose which contains "Hi, i'm Daisy!"Here is something fun.
