Isabelle, on the other hand, is a secretary. I've given up caring or predicting echoes/clones/semi-clones. Nothing is real.One thing I would be disappointed about if Shadow is an echo is not having a kick ass trailer of Sonic/Shadow's first meeting, or a stage in space with Space Colony ARK in the background. Way better than Windy Hill Zone.
Wouldn't be surprised If they make a few... They seem easier to develop...

He was the guy who brought up Isabelle being unique while the other 3 thought that she'd be an Echo.
Once the final characters are revealed.
Nintendo usually puts their preloads up about three to four weeks before release, so probably a week or so after the special edition Switch comes out (Nov. 2nd, I believe?). People will need to be able to use that code, after all, and I don't think they'll make people sit on it for a month.
If there's one thing I hate the most about the box theory is that people treat it as the final roster and absolutely nobody but the two out of three people Verg mentioned is allowed in.

That much is a given. I severely doubt the Smash staff would have the programming muscle to remove entire ATs for the sake of DLC promotions, when such effort can be applied elsewhere. Those characters can wait until next time.
To get back on topic though, try to think of one additional difference you would give each echo fighter. You can only give one.

To be fair, he never out-right stated the other characters were base-roster, either. He was probably just told that the character is in the game, and he just assumes it may be DLC if it's not in the base-game.
I'm guessing when the Smash edition of the Switch console that was announced in the previous direct comes out; it's supposed to come with a download code for Smash Ultimate, even though it comes out before the game itself, so I could see pre-loading being available then.
Maybe he will. All we have are them dang assumptions floppin’ around everywhere.
I mean his support with Owain in Warriors already paints him as "the uncle who tries to fit in with his nephew despite not understanding him at all" so at least it'd kind of fit.
